Capítulo 114: Returning to City B

"We're almost reaching City B?" Kyle opened his eyes and looked outside. There were more people camping outside City B and seemed to be in poor condition. He could only shake his head lightly because he felt that the world is so unforgiving now.

With so many giant mutated animals roaming around, there was barely any safe place around where they could truly rest and be sure that nothing will happen to them anymore.

It was sad.

"Oh, you're finally awake, Kyle."

"Meow!" <You're up!>

Kate happily jumped to Kyle's lap and then took out his dried ration along with his water bottle.

Looking at the excited little cat, Kyle let out a faint laugh. He used his free hand to caress Kate's head and then took the food and drink that she had prepared for him.

Having a little cat who was caring for him, Kyle felt comfortable.

"Well, do we need to follow you for the mission's reward?"
