Dumbledore froze for a moment in response to Fish's question, then said with a bitter smile, "I'm too busy, so I have to hand the work over to Minerva. Compared to schoolwork, of course the Voldemort side is more important." ."
"But, when Voldemort wasn't resurrected, you used to leave the work to Minerva, too!"
(ˇˇ)
Fish said, not so easily fooled.
"Ah... this..." Dumbledore guiltily avoided Fish's gaze and forced himself to explain, "Oh, that's because I had to take care of something at the last minute, so I had to ask Minerva for help."
Mother and son McGonagall, as well as her future daughter-in-law, looked at Dumbledore with exactly the same expression, no one would believe the bad old man's words.

"Ahem..." Dumbledore cleared his throat and blatantly changed the subject, "Back to the Dueling Club, as this matter must be hidden from Umbridge and the Ministry of Magic, it is certain that the other professors cannot participate. "
He explained, "Firstly, the professors are also very busy and don't have much time. Secondly, if you were found out, it would be easier to mediate, since the students are organizing."
Fish didn't understand, so he looked directly at Professor McGonagall and Hermione next to him, and seeing that neither of them had anything to object, he calmed down and stopped bothering Dumbledore.
"Well, time to talk about your business, Fish." The blue eyes behind the half-moon glasses looked back at Fish, "The tree in your dream, do you remember what shape the leaves were? Did it have flowers or fruit?"
"Nya~"
?ω?
Fish blinked, then lowered his head and started trying to remember.
"Its leaves look like this nya." He waved his hand in the shape of a heart, only a little narrower. "The flowers and fruit were not visible, maybe Fish was down there all the time and didn't come up to see them nya?".
"Other than that, is there anything else about the tree?" asked Dumbledore again.
Fish thought for a while, shook his head and said, "No, there's nothing special about it except that it's extra large."
(`ω≡`ω)
Since Fish had given so few clues, Dumbledore couldn't be sure what was going on with the tree in his dream, and after a moment of contemplation, he said, "Next time you dream of it, find a place to summon the Patronus immediately and see what changes."
There was a reason Dumbledore had suggested this, having asked Professor McGonagall and Fish, and after learning the Patronus Charm and using it to beat Fluffy and Kanaloa, Fish had basically stopped using the spell.
However, during the battle with Voldemort and the demonstration to Dumbledore over the summer, Fish's Patronus had evolved and refined to some extent, so Dumbledore surmised that perhaps it was due to this dream.
"If your Patronus is indeed evolving and refining because of this dream, then you might try wandering through your dream and exploring the tree in its entirety."
If it was as Dumbledore had speculated, then the dream was in all likelihood harmless to Fish.
But just in case, Dumbledore cautioned, "Of course, be careful when exploring, preferably with Minerva watching you while you dream."
"But Fish can't control when he dreams."
(?ω?)
Fish said with a frown.
"That's for you and Minerva to decide."
Dumbledore held up his hands, saying he was only in charge of the idea, not the actual operation.
Fish turned his head back to Professor McGonagall.
After a few moments of silence, Professor McGonagall said, "Try again, and if the Patronus changes, come sleep in my office tonight."
Although Dumbledore had said that sleep was hardly dangerous, Professor McGonagall still wanted to keep Fish as safe as possible.
"Yes, yes, it's been a while since Fish has slept with Minerva nya!".
(≧≦)
Naturally, Fish had no problem with this, as he had slept on Professor McGonagall's pillow in his cat form when he was younger, before Professor McGonagall put him in a separate room on the grounds that he had grown up.
Still, Fish didn't sleep in his room for long and ran to lie face down in front of Professor McGonagall's bedroom door.
Professor McGonagall, probably remembering the scene, reached out and stroked Fish's head with a gentle smile, while Fish squinted and purred with a comfortable expression.
(?ω?)
"Do you have any more questions?"
Dumbledore interrupted the exchange between mother and son, like a mean old man who hadn't even received a birthday present, he couldn't stand it.
And after a few moments of head twisting, Fish actually had something to ask Dumbledore.
"That Animagus Incantation, Fish never felt the second heartbeat nya, did it fail?". Fish asked impatiently, "Can Fish stop getting up early to recite the incantation?".
(?ω?)
Fish had been doing this for almost a month and hadn't felt any positive feedback, so he couldn't wait for someone to tell him that the spell had failed and he didn't have to continue.
However, Dumbledore said, "That's up to you," and stroked his beard with a hint of gloating, saying, "It's the first time an inhuman being has learned the Animagus Charm, so maybe there's something different, but if you really don't want to continue, you can quit. I was just suggesting it."
"Nya!"
∑(`Д')
Fish felt that he had been tricked again by the mean old man, if he had known that he wouldn't have studied the Animagus Charm!
But he didn't want to give it up.... Fish felt reluctant to do so....
After all, after all the time and effort it took him to get up early with the blade, the sunk costs were so high for Fish that he couldn't bear to give it up.
So, after weighing his options for a while, Fish decided to bite the bullet and go ahead.
Of course, Fish didn't look kindly on Dumbledore having tricked him, so he grimaced at the "smirking" old bad guy before grabbing Hermione and running off in a huff.
"Goodnight Minerva, Fish is going to bed nya! Hmph!"
