Capítulo 530: Chapter 528: The Moon and the Stars (Edited)

The hair on Fish's body bristled, and he dodged the incoming pillar of green light as fast as he could.

Voldemort did not continue his attack after firing the Killing Curse, but to be frank, he still wanted to subdue Fish, and the Killing Curse was more of a warning than anything else.

Fish didn't care, and when Voldemort seemed frozen in place, he pounced on him without hesitation.

"Crack!"

Another Apparition, and for Fish, who was basically a melee fighter after his transformation, even with his top speed, he couldn't keep up with Voldemort's Apparition.

The few long-range spells he had were all support spells that would trap the enemy, and would be overpowered by Voldemort's transfiguration spells, rendering them useless.

The same thing happened to Fish when he challenged Professor McGonagall, and when he started using his Apparition, Fish was nearly defeated.

"Roarr"

(=`ω′=)

Fish hit the ground in annoyance, and began to wonder if he should try his best, return to his human form and summon his Patronus, and then quickly turn back into a tiger.

But if that failed, not only would he become one of Voldemort's minions, but Harry wouldn't be able to escape either, so Fish couldn't make up his mind.

Voldemort didn't know what was bothering him, and having regained the upper hand, Voldemort began to chatter once more.

"You can't win against me, Fish." He said, "You've been wasting your talents on Dumbledore, if you had mastered your powers earlier, you wouldn't be as powerless as you are now."

He took every opportunity to slander Dumbledore in front of Fish.

Huh?

∑(=ΦωΦ=)

Fish hadn't bothered to listen to Voldemort's nonsense about Professor McGonagall and Hermione, but he couldn't interrupt his rantings because he couldn't pounce on him.

However, what Voldemort said a moment ago made Fish suddenly come to his senses....

Most of those strange spells only appeared when they were needed, like [Snowstorm], so could he awaken another long-range spell?

Then Fish mentally chanted.

Give me a ranged attack spell!

Give me a ranged attack spell!

¡¡¡¡Give me a long-range attack spell!!!!

Then, a ranged attack spell appeared.

[Moonfire: Gather the power of moonlight to inflict damage to the enemy].

[Fire Star: Gather the power of starlight to inflict damage to the enemy].

Suddenly two arrived!

(=?ω?=)

Fish's eyes lit up and he couldn't wait to attack Voldemort.

"Roar!"

At Fish's roar, a moon shadow suddenly appeared over Voldemort's head, followed by a white pillar of light falling from the moon shadow and shining down on Voldemort's body.

"Ah!"

Voldemort let out a scream, and unconsciously used his Apparition again, dodging in the distance.

However, the shadow and moonlight had already dissipated, and Voldemort, who had fled into the distance, had burns on his body, though not serious, for the first time since his resurrection.

While Voldemort was in a state of uncertainty, Fish, who had checked the effectiveness of the spell, chased after him and cast another spell [Firestar].

"Roarr!"

?(=`? ′=)?

In the midst of Fish's joyous roar, a faint starlight fell from the night sky.

At first it was so inconspicuous that even Fish didn't notice its presence, but as it fell, it grew so large that in the blink of an eye it was the size of a fist, trailed a long tail, and crashed into Voldemort like a bright meteor.

Voldemort did the same again, using his Apparition, but the falling meteor immediately changed direction and continued to chase him relentlessly.

After failing several times to dodge the meteor, Voldemort summoned a glowing silver shield to protect himself.

The meteor slammed into the shield without causing any damage, but a low gong-like sound emanated from the shield.

I think the [Moonfire] spell is better....

With that in mind, Fish attacked again.

Noticing the moonlight overhead again, Voldemort didn't hesitate to put the silver shield over his head, and the moonlight shone on the shield, emitting the same rumbling sound, only it was lighter and longer than when the [Firestar] spell hit it.

"Roarr!"

?(=`? ′=)?

Undeterred by another blocked attack, Fish took turns casting [Moonfire] and [Firestar] at Voldemort, playing with them, even controlling the frequency of his attacks and hitting the silver shield to the sound of a simple tune.

This enraged Voldemort, who was pitifully defending himself against Fish's attacks with his silver shield, and his pale face even took on a bloody hue.

Then, by a spell of some sort, the shield grew larger and hovered over his head.

"You are courting death!"

Voldemort was no longer thinking of subduing Fish, he roared and raised his wand, turning countless stones into snakes and bees as he lunged at him.

In addition to using his transfiguration spell to surround Fish, he attacked him himself....

"Avada Kedavra!"

This time, instead of merely casting a token Killing Curse as before, he combined his transfiguration spell with Apparition and attacked Fish from all sides.

Not daring to return to his human form to use the spell, Fish could only brandish his claws and tear at the poisonous bees and snakes while trying to dodge the Killing Curse coming from all directions....

At the same time, he continued to cast [Moonfire] and [Firestar] spells at Voldemort.

Once again, the situation was deadlocked.

Both sides tried to break the stalemate, but Fish tried to approach Voldemort several times, but he avoided them all the time, kept trying to awaken a teleportation spell, but did not get a response.

Voldemort had set several traps for Fish, but Fish had avoided them all by making use of his [Beast Instinct]. Like Dumbledore, he had a knack for using words to influence his opponent's mind during a fight, but the few times he had spoken, he had made Fish angry or revealed a new spell, so he had to shut up and think of other ways to defeat Fish.

Voldemort now regretted his unbreakable oath to Fish, if only he had gotten the help of the Death Eaters, or threatened Fish with Harry, he wouldn't be in this situation.

And Fish regretted it too, because had it not been for the unbreakable oath, he might have unleashed a huge snowstorm and used the rain as cover to flee with Harry.

Hmm?

∑(=ΦωΦ=)

Fish had another flash of insight.

The oath he had sworn with Voldemort said they couldn't do anything to Harry, but not to Death Eaters!

Since there's no way of knowing who the winner is for a while, why not go and beat up those Death Eaters? Maybe he could use this to detect Voldemort's flaws and defeat him?

As for the Death Eaters, Fish didn't care, he had already beaten them up by himself, and now that he had learned three new spells, Fish feared them even less.

His mind made up, Fish continued to tangle with Voldemort as he slowly shifted the battlefield towards the Death Eaters, and quickly settled on his first target: the fake Moody who had tricked him and Harry into coming here.

Barty Crouch Jr. had hidden behind the crowd while Fish had beaten the Death Eaters, and Fish had wanted revenge, but had been unable to get it.

Now that the other party had unknowingly been in charge of the team because they were paying attention to the Voldemort situation, Fish naturally wouldn't miss this good opportunity for revenge.

Besides...

He still hadn't beaten this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts class teacher!
