Capítulo 406: Chapter 405: Television (Edited)

It turns out that television not only got a certain kitten to do his homework, but to do it quickly and well.

Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched slightly as she looked at the homework in her hands...

If Fish had been writing his homework at the pace he usually did, it would have taken him at least two or three hours to do it, but now he had finished it in just over an hour, and there were no major errors in the content.

"Minerva, can Fish go watch TV now nya?!"

?(??ω??)?

The kitten looked at Professor McGonagall with a smoldering gaze, his body leaning slightly to one side, as if he was going to turn around and run off into the classroom as soon as she got an affirmative answer.

Although she didn't want to let Fish go off to watch TV, it was something she had promised to do, and she wasn't bad enough to discourage Fish....

Then, Professor McGonagall thought for a moment and said, "Yes, but only for another hour."

"Why nya?!"

The cat, who had run to the door, turned around and protested discontentedly.

"We're here as guests, what's wrong with you leaving your friends aside and going to watch TV by yourself?!". Professor McGonagall replied with a scowl, "That's too rude!"

"Nya!"

(?≥△≤?)

The kitten still cherishes his friends, especially Hermione, who feels very special to him.

But the TV show was too interesting for Fish to give up....

Fish had seen the TV when he was a stray cat, but he didn't understand what it said and didn't know it could be changed, so the storybooks that Professor McGonagall had bought him were left behind when the kitty discovered that that little box contained a million interesting "stories".

The stories were not only informative and entertaining, but they were illustrated from beginning to end, which made them much more interesting than the simple moving pictures in the wizarding storybooks.

"Hermione can watch TV with Fish nya!"

?(?ΦωΦ?)?

The kitten soon came up with a solution, "Everyone usually reads storybooks with Fish nya, too!".

Everyone at Hogwarts knew that Fish liked to listen to stories, so often the little witches would read to him when they had free time, and as long as they didn't overdo it too much, Fish would lie in their arms and let them pet him.

So Fish quickly thought of this, and to make the two events seem closer, the cat wisely changed "tell Fish a story" to "read storybooks with Fish."

Under normal circumstances, Professor McGonagall would not object to Fish watching television.

After all, they were in an area where Muggles lived, and with Fish's bouncy personality and habit of making a lot of noise wherever he went, it was good to have something to hold his attention and keep him occupied.

It was only when Professor McGonagall noticed that the ever-motivated canteen didn't even want to eat to watch TV that she suddenly became suddenly alert, and unconsciously felt that she shouldn't let Fish stare at the TV all the time.

So he tried a different approach, "Wouldn't you like to experience what it's like to be a Muggle when you visit Hermione's house? Maybe they have something more interesting to offer?".

Compared to Fish being addicted to television, Professor McGonagall would rather let him out to play now, no matter if he got into trouble, as the problem could be solved with some dememorizing spells.

Fish was about to say that it wasn't as if he had never lived a Muggle life, but then he thought about what he had seen on TV, and it sounded interesting, so he was tempted.

"Alright then, Fish will watch some more TV and then go out with Hermione for a walk nya."

Professor McGonagall was relieved that she had convinced her cat to leave the TV, but she could still warn him, "When you go out, don't show your ears or your cat tail!".

"Fish knows nya!"

?(??ω??)?

The kitten replied without looking back,

Then he angrily ran off towards the living room, where the TV was, only to stop halfway and go back to his room.

After Fish finished his lunch and ran back to his homework, Hermione hurried to eat her lunch and then came to join Fish in his homework.

Hermione despaired to find that the kitten, for a change, had finished her chores quickly and scampered off again, leaving her alone to continue with her homework.

There had never been a time when Hermione hated the invention of television as much as she did now.

But asking her to finish her homework casually is not in line with her personality, so Hermione could only complain internally about the television as she wrote her homework.

"Hermione, did you finish your homework nya?"

|ΦωΦ?)

At that moment, Fish opened the door to the room and poked his head in.

"Fish?" Hermione looked back and replied with some resignation, "Not yet, I think I have to revise this essay about..."

"It's like this nya..."

The kitten hesitated for a moment, but went in.

"Then write it quickly nya, and when you're done we'll go downstairs and watch TV for an hour, and then we'll go for a walk nya."

Fish transformed into a kitten, jumped onto Hermione's lap and laid down.

Hermione was instantly energized.

"Don't worry, I'll finish it soon!"

...

As Hermione wrote in the company of the cat, Professor McGonagall picked up the phone in her room and abruptly dialed the number the Grangers had left for her.

"Hello, this is the Granger Dental Clinic."

Mrs. Granger's voice rang on the other end of the line.

After marveling at the wonders of Muggle technology, Professor McGonagall raised her voice slightly and spoke into the handset the way she had been taught, "Is this Jacqueline? This is Minerva."

"Minerva? Is something wrong at home?" asked Mrs. Granger with some urgency on the other end of the line, and then, before Professor McGonagall could answer, she said with a grimace, "The truth is, I should have stayed home, but I can't get away from the clinic these days."

"No, there's nothing going on at home."

Professor McGonagall said, "I just want to ask you a question.... How did you get Hermione to stop being obsessed with television?"

Mrs. Granger, on the other end of the line, froze a little and then let out a giggle.

"Actually, we didn't do anything. Hermione really liked watching TV at first, but as time went on, she gradually became less interested. Maybe it's just a novelty for Fish now."

Professor McGonagall frowned slightly, she understood what Mrs. Granger was saying, but Fish and Hermione were different, Hermione had grown up in a Muggle society and was used to television, it was impossible for Fish to get bored of television, at least not for long.

But apparently Mrs. Granger was quick thinking about that too, as she continued over the phone, "Don't worry, I have a way to get Fish to focus her attention on something else."

"Can you tell me about it first?"

Mrs. Granger didn't hold back.

"Of course it's an amusement park, no child can resist the allure of an amusement park."
