Capítulo 23: 23. Anna feels something
They had their breakfast together Anna found the sandwiches to her appetite. Mo Jingzhi seems to know cooking.
"Mr Mo seems to be a good cook " , although Anna could eat anything in dire situations she didn't wrong herself when she could have everything perfect especially food so she found his sandwiches quite delicious just up to her standards she was quite picky about her food at normal times .
"I heard miss Anna is picky about food if she likes it it's really an honour, you are welcome to eat at my place anytime".
He wanted to eat with her everyday the atmosphere between them was quite harmonious he really liked this feeling.
Anna didn't reply about this and asked him about his purpose to come " Mr Mo had something to discuss with me?"
" It's like this Mo group is working on an AI project but there were a few problems recently we are short of an AI engineer the person should also be trustworthy since this project is closely related to the government Mo group has attached great importance to it . "
" Does that have anything to do with me Mr Mo ?" she had somewhat guessed his purpose for his visit know but wanted to make sure of it.
" Lu Jinnian said that you are quite skilled in this field I hope you could be that project leader I have seen your work in Lu cooperation I really affirm your ability , you can think about it and tell me this is my card to contact me when you think about it we will discuss other things later ."
" Okay Mr Mo I will reply to you tomorrow can you pass on some information about the project." she wanted to know if it was something challenging .
" Okay , just call me by my name no need to be polite." He always felt Mr Mo was too distant always separating him by a wall .
" Anna " what she meant was him to do the same.
She thought he will leave now but he sat on the sofa browsing his phone it was really awkward to ask someone to leave .
" How many days will you stay Ann ?" he called her in the most natural way when he thought she will go away he felt uncomfortable .
" let's look at fate." she didn't know when she planned to leave how would she reply to him .
When she said that he smiled at her again a her roots of ears dyed red she felt breathless looking at him.
. " ohh something was wrong with her she was so healthy why was she feeling uneasy she must be sick ." she thought, she always felt his smile made her lose his mind they had just known each other for a day why did he have such an impact on her .
This was so unlike herself.
Sometime to certain people love comes suddenly when soulmates meet there naturally find themselves more compatible towards each other attraction is always stronger between them .
Mo Jingzhi and Anna were soulmates a fit for each other.
Mo Jingzhi found something amiss with her just like yesterday when he smiled she looked away unnaturally . She seemed to be blushing this thought made him happy inside and he smiled more charmingly .
"God are you kidding me something is definitely wrong with her "Anna kept mutturing to herself.
Seeing Anna being uncomfortable he thought she was not feeling well he streched out his hand touched her forehead and then her neck "Anna are you ok, are not feeling well do you want me to find a doctor " .
Although Anna had a great height she was still a bit shorter than Mo Jingzhi when he bent down they were quite close his hot breath spread on her face his hands on her neck he looked at her with concern in his eyes.
Anna was startled by their closeness and his concern at ordinary times Mo Jingzhi must have been lying on ground for touching her but she didn't attack him like she could to others .
Anna took a step back looked away unnaturally stuttered for the first time " No no I am fine you don't worry."
Mo Jingzhi noticed that also noticed their distance was too close " Sorry I was just concerned about didn't mean anything else ." he explained hurriedly.
" It's fine I understand" . she knew, she just overreacted.
" Then see you later I will take my leave" he hurried away .
Looking at his fleeing figure Anna was dazed .
