Capítulo 4: Chapter 4 Fall of God Enel
Enel charged at me with lightning coursing through his arms and place his hands on my chest. " Foolish boy! For you blind arrogance, I will show you the true powers of a God."
He placed his hand over the other on my chest and cried out, " 50 million volts!"
Electricity immediately began coursing through me, as if it sought to wreck my whole body and destroy my body, however as quickly as it went into my body, it didn't do a thing. In fact it only energized my body even more, feeding my basic physical strength like it was a source of nutrients.
I stumbled backwards which made the other party smile in satisfaction. However, that quickly changed as I also smiled and began laughing as if nothing had happened.
However the other party shook his head as if denying the sight in front of him, " Hmph, it appears that you are stronger than i thought. BUT that's only a tiny portion of my strength."
" Well, show me your full power then."
Enel smiled ever brighter, as if I have just fallen for a trap. he rose up from the ground as dark clouds began to form and lightning started to rain down from the sky. His form started to change as he became a little bloated but it was as if his whole body started synergize with the energy around him.
Enel " HAHAHA! Allow me to show you the true form of a God. For the arrogance that you have shown me, you will only know true power once you die from it."
Looking at his form and the energy coursing through him and the sky above, I finally frowned. This buffet may have been too much for me to take. I fear that I may become so bloated that I may explode if I were to absorb all that energy at my present strength.
However, since I caused this situation to escalate up to this point, I will have to deal with it. I don't think he will forgive me if I just say sorry right. With the God complex that he developed when he ate the devil fruit, I don't think he will forgive someone who refuses to obey him.
I sighed as I conjured a energy sword that I have learned throughout the few days of traveling. I amplified my strength by 10x as my body started to glow a little. I flew up as I shouted, " Here I come, little Enel."
The both of us clash with great force that brightened up the sky.
Enel " 200 million volts! THUNDER GOD!"
" Judgement Sword! Extinguish" I yelled out with my own move that I splendidly created. This sword was a move that I created to not only cut things but absorb things too. I have pierced through the sky animals that tried to eat me throughout my days of traveling and have successfully absorbed their life energy once I stabbed them. Strengthening me in the process.
My sword easily pierced through the falling lighting and continued straight towards his heart.
Enel not believing his very eyes. Since he ate this powerful fruit, it turned his body into pure lightning, there was almost nothing that could hurt his body with the only exception of things of the sea nature. But being far above the sea, those things were a rarity, therefore he was basically invincible. But what just happened now, his lightning attacks were useless against this person that had appeared out of nowhere. Was the world truly a bigger place then he could have imagined?
Blood poured out of his face as his white pale body became even paler. It was as if his energy was quickly being taken away as he muttered before falling down from the sky, " Impossible... if... if only I have had more time."
I could only watch his body fall for a short amount of time before my body began experiencing what I have feared what would happen once I had chosen to take in that energy. My body started to heat up faster and faster. I quickly flew back to where the others were and crouched to my knees as I tried to hold in this power. My body has already started to slowly crack as blood started to flow out. If I am unable to contain this power then I will most likely explode and the explosion may blow up half of this sky. That was how much power I had absorbed. I fear that there was not much people alive who can handle this power, at least from what I have seen so far.
As time quickly ticked by, an idea suddenly came up, if I can't contain it, then I should just expend this power.
I quickly walked towards the still weak gran fall. My hands started to glow as I said, " Healing hands."
Very quickly Gran falls injuries began to heal. But I did not just stop there as I continued to pour energy into him.
Changes started to happen before everyone's very eyes as the once injured old man's wounds started to disappear and even his old haggard appearance started to change to a younger appearance.
However, I also knew that too much energy could be trouble too so I quickly stopped when I felt like he couldn't handle it anymore. I then quickly went to heal all the other injured soldiers. Several minutes passes by, but the energy was still too much for me to handle. I looked towards Enel's followers who hadn't moved from the very start because of the battle that quickly folded and unfolded. They just didn't know what to do or how to react against such godly powers that they once knew had just as quickly been destroyed.
I held out my hand as I grimaced in pain. Several little energy orbs started to form and float from above my palms. They were as small as little marbles but I knew that they contained greatly condensed powers. I knew that these here weren't the only soldiers terrorizing the land so I closed my eyes as I tried my best to calm down and continue to sense ill intent. I counted as many as I could as several marbled orbs continued to appear.
" Go. Destroy the evil that is haunting this land."
The marbled orbs quickly flew off into the distance to wherever I had sent them. Hopefully, I had made the right judgment in doing this as I really don't know which side is which since I just arrived here not long ago.
Not long after I sent the marbled orbs flying, sounds of explosions and screams began to resound through the land.
However, I did not care much as I finally have enough strength to reign the remaining energy.
I closed my eyes as I focus on healing my body and nourishing it becoming drastically stronger in the process as my body continues to destroy itself and heal. It was a strange feeling as I was experiencing pain and ease constantly.
What seems to be hours, the pain started to feel less and less hurtful and it was beginning to feel more like a tickle. Soon enough, I've absorbed the energy successfully, becoming vastly stronger than just a few hours ago in the process. However, I knew that I shouldn't go absorbing energy like this anymore because this strength that I had felt too unfamiliar, like it wasn't even my own body.
However, now wasn't the time to think about this as I did not necessarily kill Enel but only absorbed a large portion of his energy.
I looked to where he was still lying on the ground with several soldiers surrounding him. During my process of healing and strengthening myself, I did not notice Gan Fall beside me. If he wanted to, he could've easily distracted me and I would've died in the process. It was a good thing that Gan Fall was a good person at least as he smiled and looked at me.
Gan Fall smiled and said, " I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me and the people of this land, Michael. It looks like I may have to pay Iroh a visit and thank him for raising such a powerful and kind son."
" There's no need for thanks. I've only done what I should've done. I could already tell that that guy Enel wasn't a good person. If he had taken over officially, then I feared that the people of this land would have to live through fear or torment."
Gan Fall could only nod his head in agreement. "Although you have handled it easily, I feared that his strength was not ordinary."
" Yes, that's true. I could only count my luck as my powers were too much of an advantage against his."
The both of us walked to where Enel laid as the soldiers had their spears pointed at him. When we arrived I could see Enel breathing heavily as if he struggled to catch his breath. Actually I'm quite surprised that he is still alive and breathing, I did stab his heart after all.
I conjured my sword again, " Enel, you have indeed gained great power, but the only reason why you have fallen this far and so early in life is because of the reason you use your powers. Powers as great as ours shouldn't be used to reign over others but guide them. After all, what's the point of having such strength. Is it fun having the power to crush others so easily? Does it make you feel so great? I'm sure it would be quite fun to just reign over others, but for how long? If all they do is fear us, then how long will that fear be turned against us? In the end, who could know, but I do know this, ruling by fear is never the correct fear for people that you wish to have follow you."
Without listening to his last words, I pierced his heart, while absorbing the last small remaining powers that kept him alive.
