School had long since ended…
"Hmmmm." Risa hummed while looking at the sign on the door.
Five people stood in front of a large door with a broken lock, it had fallen off on its own the moment they arrived. Rian, Haruna, Mio, Lala, and Risa were the five people, they were currently in the location of the old school building…it was the place of the ghost story,
"That clearly says danger…we should enter, right Haruna?" Risa said with a smirk while pointing her thumb at the sign and looking back at Haruna. Risa seemed to go after Haruna more after finding out her dislike for ghosts.
"N-n-…eh?" Haruna felt someone grab her hand, the hand was bigger than her's, but it didn't crush her. She looked up out of instinct…
Her eyes were met by a hazel eyed high school boy who looked at her with a light smile on his face…
"Lala get the other side." Rian said while holding Haruna's hand.
"Roger!" Lala took Haruna's hand and put on the tough expression Haruna made before in class, she liked doing it now.
"…" Haruna's face blushed…she felt like a child being lead by two older siblings. However…she didn't hate this current feeling…she felt motivated for some reason.
"Lets go!" Haruna was unlike her normally silent self.
"Lets go!!" Lala yelled out what Haruna said before laughing.
"Lets go!!!" Rian naturally did the same…he wouldn't feel right if didn't.
"…" Mio and Risa watched this scene with blinking eyes.
'What happened to Haruna?" Risa and Mio thought at the same time.
It seemed their shouts were enough to wake something or someone up, the door slowly creaked open until it was widely open.
Risa and Mio expected Lala to be the first to enter, but to their sudden surprise…it was a muttering Haruna.
"I can do this…I got this…Haruna go…walk forwards…"Haruna muttered to herself every two steps she took. She lead the two that stood on her left and right side, neither Lala or Rian wanted to bother the girl who moved at her own pace, they just matched hers.
"She's growing up/She growing up" Risa and Mio couldn't help to wipe the nonexistent tears from their faces before they walked in after them.
Once everyone was gone…the creaking door no longer creaked when it closed itself and locked the door on the five people.
Meanwhile and inside the building.
[Creak] [Squeak]
The old wood under the five people creaked and squeaked like a wolf's chew toy under the force of the soles of their feet.
The old school building could be best described as a place people would bring their enemies to scare the afternoon sun out of them. The wood and glass was broken, they both were scattered across the floor like trash under school bleachers. The smell could be described as iron filled. The building was dry and pretty hot, it could be compared to the inside of a car on a summer afternoon. It was dark, only the rays of light from the sun that passed through broken windows made their path clear to see.
[Slam!!]
"Twinkle toes!"
Haruna said a bunch of mumbo jumbo before jumped in the air with raised fists. She heard what sounded like a door slam loudly a distance away from her. Even through she lead the team of students, that didn't mean every ounce of her fear of spirits had faded to nothing.
"I caught Haruna." Lala grabbed Haruna from the air and caught her the moment she jumped.
"…Thank you Lala." Haruna's body moved on its own.
[Munch! Munch! Munch!]
"Ghosts can eat?" Risa never knew ghost had to eat.
Almost everyone asked the same question to themselves, except Rian.
"What is she doing here?" Rian said while walking towards the end of the hall, the door slam came from over there.
"Wait, Rian." Haruna tried to stop him, she pulled out her phone without realizing.
"It's fine…I know who it is." Rian indeed did know who it was…it would be lie to say he couldn't tell who it was based off the way they ate.
The door slide open before Rian could make it…
"Yami!!" Lala said while looking at the plum eating golden girl, she stared at a book while she ate.
"…Princess" Yami looked away from her book to greet the princess.
"Yami, what are you doing here?" Lala didn't understand why someone like Yami would be here
"I was reading old books" Yami seemed to talk more to Lala
"I knew it…" Rian felt a little proud of himself, he was able to tell who someone was based of their way eating…it may have been a little sad now that he thought about it more.
Yami heard him and looked over to her target…
"…Rian Yuki, you still are my target…don't forget that." Yami would repeat those words from Rian's window every afternoon, every morning, and every night he was home. Rian had started to treat it as her wishing him a good day.
" Rian you have another girl after you…she even called you hear target of love." Risa's wise words filled the ears of Lala.
"Yami is this true!?" Lala wanted to know, she could invite someone else to her plan.
"…"Yami's body blurred and she didn't respond.
She appeared behind the five, but appeared in front of a girl creeping behind them.
"Ahh!!" Yui screamed when a golden haired girl appeared in front of her.
"…Its just Yui" Haruna got a little scared and jumped towards Lala when Yami blurred and a scream came from behind them. She felt relieved at just seeing Yui Kotegawa lurking behind them, she wasn't a threat.
"What do you mean it's just me? You should be more scared of me then a ghost." Yui regained her bearings despite having every season of the year scared out of her.
She finally noticed the face of the golden girl in front of her…
"Why is your face red? Rian Yuki!" Yui instantly knew it had something to do with Rian.
["Get out…oooooo!] [Get out…ooooooo!]
"Wow! What is that." Lala got excited after hearing the sounds in the air.
"Ghost/Ghost!" Mio and Risa grabbed Yami.
"Rian Yuki! Stop doing that." Yui's voice sounded a little shaky, but she would never miss a chance to blame Rian Yuki, it seemed like she was made that way.
"Tell me how I could even do that?" If Rian could do it, he would bother Yui everyday he could.
"…You're doing it with something." Yui didn't know herself.
Rian sighed and took a step forwards…
[Crack]
The weak area of the floor cracked under Rian's added on weight, he was wearing weights on his clothing.
[Boom] [Crash]
Rian fell through the floor boards.
