Capítulo 36: Give Up

"What were you doing last night?" Anthony inquired, his voice cold. He'd been waiting for her all night, worried about her safety.

Melissa was taken aback when she discovered her uncle in her apartment. "Uncle, I'm a little tired," she said casually, rubbing her aching head. Let me take a break."

"Stop right there," a stern voice from behind her said as she was about to walk towards her room.

Anthony rose from his seat and walked towards her. He frowned at her disheveled appearance; she was ragged in alcohol, and the marks around her neck reveal what she did the night before.

He closed his eyes to calm his raging rage. "What are you doing?  I've already warned you not to mess with Angelina. But.. He frustratedly ran his hand through his face and said, "You never listen to me."
