Capítulo 200: THE FIRST TRIAL

My first trial began today. I was brought forth from the dungeon and into the throne room. The people jeered when they saw me but I didn't bother to respond to them or retaliate. I understood how they felt, they felt wronged and demanded justice for the life of a son that was dead and taken away from his family. I stared up at where Ivan was sitting on his throne and even though he wore a stern expression on his face, I could still see his concern for me.

I stared up at Ivan with a blank expression on my face, trying hard to conceal my emotions because I was worried about him. Despite the fact that I was locked for three days inside the dungeon, Ivan didn't come to visit me once. My friends came on a daily though, they assured me and gave me updates of what was going on the castle and how my children were doing but Ivan didn't come.
