After that whole fiasco with that crazy woman it had been a hard time. He had cried so much that he had gotten his nose clogged and had gotten a fever. She had to take care of him the entire night. She was happy to do that, but wished that this caring and nurturing could have been on better circumstances.
"Why did you file a restraining order against them?" he had whispered with a stuffed nose.
"I know they weren't right for you" she had answered confidently at the time.
"You don't even know them".
"I know enough!" she had raised her voice, but now wasn't the time to argue. It had been hell trying to calm him down. To stop him from crying. It was a good thing she had experience since she had put him in the system when he was just three.
"They didn't want me to see you at first. Then when I met you, you were trying to jump off a bridge. It's just annoying that I supported them at first".
"You don't even know what happened" he sniffed.
The law system might be a bit shaky because I'm not really well-versed in American law. I'm winging it as one would say for plot and drama. It is fiction remember.
