Ye Han smiled at Yang Fei and said "Please old man, you make it sound like I am a manipulating bastard. I just wanted to talk about a deal, which would benifit both of us."
"What is it?" Yang Fei asked and Ye Han replied "I both of you to help me in something. In return, I will make sure you have a good and beautiful life together with your family. You will be working for me, the future city lord."
Yang Fei raised his eyebrow when he heard that. He asked "I know that you were adopted by the current city lord and the fact that you somehow broke through to the silver rank at your age, but that doesn't guarantee your position in your family. Your family is filled with people who want to kill you. How do you expect us to believe you?" and Ye Han replied "I know that you investigated about me, but it isn't completely true. My power is something that only my grandfather Ye Mo knows. Even I don't know what that is, and it isn't from a demon spirit. As for my position in the family, my grandfather Ye Mo itself has agreed to make me the next patriarch and the city lord. Others' opinion doesn't matter. You don't have to worry about your safety."
"Ok fine, its not like we have any other choice. What do you want us to do?" Yang Fei asked and Ye Han first looked at Yang Xin, who was silent all the time. He said to her "I want you to make me these pills. I will provide you with all the raw ingredients. You can even use some of them, but you shouldn't sell them. I will decide when to sell them." and handed her the recipes of the pills and the detailed instructions on how to make them.
She read the instructions and asked "If you have this much knowledge on making pills, can't you make them yourself? Also, where did you get this recipes?"
Ye Han replied "There is a difference in knowing and doing. All I have is practical knowledge, but no experience in how to make them. It is similar to how kids can't sense soul force in their initial stages of cultivation. Even if they are instructed with the details on how to sense it and how it feels, they will still have to experience it on their own to know how it feels. As for your second question, I am not answering that."
Yang Xin continued reading the recipes and Ye Han then turned to Yang Fei. He said to the old man "Yang Fei, your help is what I want the most. I have looked into the cultivation techniques you gave the Sacred family and I was amazed to see that they were better than the actual ones." which confused the old man.
Ye Han continued "You managed to make corrections to the techniques, making them better than the previous ones. You thought you were just modifying them to make them untraceable, but you ended up correcting any mistakes in the technique.
In my opinion, you are a genius that appears once in 100 thousand years. Understanding of a cultivation technique isn't easy and not possible for anyone. It takes experts. years to make one cultivation technique and even then, they will not know the mistakes in their cultivation techniques." and that's when Yang Fei stopped him and said "I understood what I did so, stop beating around the bush and ask what you want from me."
"Ok, I will give you three cultivation techniques. I want you to combine them and make a cultivation technique. If you manage to do it, I will give you and Yang Xin cultivation techniques suitable to your soul sea attributes. With my help, you can grow in power and protect yourself. Everyone trusts themselves more than others." Ye Han said and his request managed to surprise Yang Fei.
He wasn't expecting a request like this. He thought for a while and asked "You are giving me cultivation techniques to combine them. What if I sell them or make any deliberate request to see you fall?"
"I am sure you won't do that. You are someone smart and know what is good and what is bad." Ye Han said and got up from the hard bed. He said "I will not interfere with your reunion anymore. I will take my leave. Please look into these and remember them properly. This paper burns two minutes after it is opened." handing him three scrolls of Heavenly God technique, Void technique and the Holy Primal Chaos technique.
When Yang Fei started reading those scrolls, he started getting enlightenment and after a while, he broke to the 5-star gold rank. He memorised the whole technique and said "Young master Ye Han, what is this technique? I haven't even comprehended 10% of this technique and I immediately gained enlightenment."
Ye Han was surprised at the change in tone. He said "As I mentioned before, these aren't compatible with your soul sea. I will give you a better one if you finish the technique. I would appreciate it if you do it in three years time. Also, since you are now my people, you can call me Ye Han."
"As you wish." Yang Fei said and Ye Han said "I want both of you to live the way you guys lived before, until I find a safe place for both of you to stay together." and they nodded.
Ye Han left the house after confirming their loyalty through their thoughts, and returned to the Snow Wind Family.
When he came back, he noticed that Gui Ling was already there in his room, cleaning his room. When he entered the room, Gui Ling turned to him and said "Young master, I have learnt cooking as you have instructed. Do you want me to make you something to eat?"
"No, I am tired for today. Wake me up when it is dark, I have some work to do." Ye Han said and sent the maid outside. He then lay on the bed and said in his head "When Yang Fei finishes making the cultivation technique, I can practice it, but since I have already started cultivating the Holy Primal Chaos technique, I will have to abolish my cultivation and start again. Or, if luck is by my side, the technique might be compatible with my chaos qi inside my body.
So, without wasting time, it is better to train my devil fruit instead of cultivation. As for now....." Ye Han paused for a moment and looked at the door, where Gui Ling was standing and trying to hear any sounds from his room.
"I need a force that can keep me safe till I am strong enough to protect myself." he continued and closed his eyes, thinking about what he had to do. He sighed before sleeping.
Ye Han slept for three hours and then got up. He washed his face and headed straight to the restaurant of the information broker. Ye Han felt that they are the perfect people to start building up a force.
When he arrived at the restaurant, he could tell that he was being followed. "The dark guild is completely focused on me huh? This is a good thing." Ye Han said and entered the restaurant.
As usual, he was given the VIP treatment by the waitress and was taken straight to Yong Wei, who was drinking with two girls. When Ye Han arrived at the room, Yong Wei sent them away and Ye Han then sat in front of Yong Wei.
Yong Wei bowed slightly and said "Greetings young master Ye Han, what can I do for you today?"
"Yong Wei, I am already fed up talking to an old man, so I will get strength to the important stuff. I want you to work for me." Ye Han said and Yong Wei was obviously surprised at Ye Han's proposal.
He asked "Young master Ye Han, can you please explain yourself?" and Ye Han said "Yong Wei, since I am now the centre of attraction of everyone in the city, I will have many enemies and many people would try to oppress my growth. While their focus is still on me, I want to build up a force for myself, which can help me when fighting against other families as, ever since my grandfather Ye Mo has started to support me, I can feel the elders and others in the family plan something."
Yong Wei thought about what Ye Han said and asked "Young master should know that there is a lot of risk for those who follow you. Even if you persuade me, how do you expect the ones working for me to follow you willingly?"
"I will grant everyone, who wishes to follow me, cultivation techniques and resources to grow stronger. You will not get involved with my affairs immediately. Till you guys are strong enough, you can hide your identity as my men." Ye Han said and this was shocking for Yong Wei, as cultivation techniques are considered family treasures and whosoever leaks those techniques, would be hunted down by the whole family.
Ye Han again added "Don't worry about my family. The cultivation technique I will give you guys is something I got on my own."
Yong Wei thought for a while and said "Master Ye Han, I am willing to follow you and will try to persuade my followers as well."
Ye Han could guess why Yong Wei accepted so easily, without even reading his thoughts. Ye Han said "Ask all your faithful followers to assemble immediately. It would be easier to persuade them if they look at their future leader." and Yong Wei agreed to his request.
He asked the waitress to call everyone to the basement of the restaurant, which was currently used as their base and a storage place.
It took them two hours, until which, Ye Han was talking to Yong Wei about things. The waitress then entered the room and said "Master Ye Han, everyone has arrived and are gathered at the basement."
She also changed how she addressed Ye Han, since Yong Wei told her about it and she was willing to follow Yong Wei. Ye Han asked her to lead the way and when they arrived at the basement, the waitress was about to open the door when Ye Han stopped her and closed his eyes to scan through the thoughts of all the members inside.
After making sure there were no dark guild members, he entered the room and attracted all the attention, as he was walking before Yong Wei.
He then stood before them and said "I assume you all know who I am, but let me introduce myself again. I am Ye Han, from the Snow Wind Family and will be leading you guys from now." which caused an uproar.
There were comments like "Who are you to lead us?", "You are still wet behind your ears. You are here too early.", etc.,
Ye Han looked at them and started laughing out loud, which silenced everyone in the basement. They looked at him with confused faces.
Ye Han said between his laughter "I can't believe the level of stupidity and ignorance of this group. Listen here you idiots, allow me to enlighten your little brains." the last part in a serious tone.
He continued "You were all bandits before and have criminal records. Also, you guys have investigated a lot of nobles by now. You guys are safe now, only because they don't consider you a threat and they don't think the information you have is harmful to them.
Once they get to know that you have some sensitive information about them, they will not hesitate to wipe you all out with your families. So, I am giving you guys a chance to protect yourself and those around you. I will give you guys everything you need for cultivation. All you have to do is, follow me.
I will give you time till tomorrow night. Those who want to follow me, can come here tomorrow. Those who don't want to follow me, can just retire from this job and stay with your family. But remember, what you get from cultivation isn't just strength, you also get fame and money."
They all stared at the 10 year old kid, who didn't sound anything like his age. The aura around him definitely made all his words believable. Ye Han turned to leave and as he was passing by Yong Wei, he heard Yong Wei say "Great job master. That was an excellent speech. You will definitely become a great leader."
