The sun had set, and with it, the full moon began to fade, while the cold of the night burst through the cracks and crevices of the warehouse. The wind, especially fierce tonight, blew hard and strong, carrying dust and foliage through the warehouse's large door.

A prisoner chained to the walls of the warehouse remained still, almost lifeless. The shivering cold of the growing night made her body tremble, the pain of hunger clawing at her stomach. Weakness, fatigue, frustration, and the sting of wounds rendered her immobile; she didn't want to move due to the discomfort. Instead, the prisoner remained so still that her captors thought she was dead.
