'Is there really no way to do that?'
Frowning and thinking, Ryan turned his gaze to the system's cards, inadvertently skimming over the eye-catching bronze sheen on the [Hong Qi] card, and a sudden flash of inspiration came to mind.
Perhaps it could be that the power of the character was too strong for the chakra clone, and the chakra clone couldn't handle it.
Thinking about that possibility, Ryan immediately located the [D-Level card -- Senior Brother Lau], which only had one remaining use in the system, and incorporated it into his new chakra clone.
After transformation and a moment of worry, the chakra clone eventually maintained the power of the D-level card. It didn't suddenly undo itself like before.
'Success!'
Looking up at the arrogant look on the chakra clone's face, a look that said everyone besides him was trash, Ryan was in a particularly excited mood.
...
"Ivan Vanko. The guy who attacked you in Monaco. He was taking revenge for his father, Anton Vanko. There was a bitter conflict with your father over some research, but unfortunately, he lost and was deported by your father. When the Russians had no use for him, they dumped him in Siberia. After spending 20 years of their miserable life in alcoholism and resentment, Ivan was convinced that it was all your father's fault ..."
"Your condition is worse than I thought, Tony."
At the cliffside villa, Nick Fury looked at Tony's pale face. Ending his briefing on the Monaco accident, he commented on his appearance.
Although he already knew from Natasha that the other party was in pretty bad shape, he couldn't help but furrow his brow when he actually saw him.
"I know."
Using his armour to support the glass of alcohol to his lips, Tony didn't deny his current situation, "If I don't find a cure in less than 10 days, I'll die of palladium poisoning. I even looked up how people die from palladium ... It's much more painful than I thought it would be."
"Hmm. Did you find anything that works?"
Looking silently at Tony, Fury wanted to use this opportunity to bring him closer to S.H.I.E.L.D. and return his father's legacy to him.
Standing across the room, Tony answered, "Possibly."
Fury: "..."
For a split second, the expression on Fury's face slightly froze. He had a long speech in mind, but apparently, Tony's remark had thrown all this preparation out of the window.
He looked at Natasha. The Black Widow frowned and shook her head blankly.
"What did you find, Mr Stark?"
Although he was surprised by the unexpected outcome, Fury maintained his usual unchanging demeanour and asked.
"Peng Lai. You should be familiar with it, Miss~ Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D."
Slightly glancing back at Natasha standing behind him, Tony turned back to Fury and said, "I need all the information S.H.I.E.L.D. has on Peng Lai."
"This is top secret. There's no way S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to give you that." Shaking his head, Fury did his part to keep confidentiality as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Hmm. I knew you'd say that." Shrugging his shoulders, Tony wasn't surprised by Fury's reply. He raised his hand and took the last sip of his drink, then raised his other hand to point to the projected screen hovering in the air. Jarvis projected all the information from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s database, connected to Peng Lai.
"To be honest, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s cyber defence system needs updating."
"Do you know what you're doing, Mr Stark? " Looking up at the S.H.I.E.L.D. database, which he had classified as top secret, Fury's face looked rather unpleasant, "If I wanted to, I could arrest you right now."
"You could... If you wanted to." Tony brushed off Nick Fury's threat with nonchalance, "I only have a few days to live before I die. I know S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't want that... Not currently anyways. You need me alive."
"And I want to live." Turning his head to look straight into Fury's one good eye, Tony put away his cynical expression and spoke with a solemn look on his face, "Peng Lai may be my only chance. So tell me, Director, where the hell is it?"
Although most of S.H.I.E.L.D. 's internal information about Peng Lai had been found, and there was even a small amount of information about Jiu You, the important content about Ip Man and Master Roshi seemed to have been sealed off by S.H.I.E.L.D. in a much tighter way. Even Tony couldn't have deciphered that quickly.
Unfortunately, at the moment, what he lacked most was time.
Meeting Tony's imploring gaze, Fury forced himself to turn his head and resume his cold tone, "Sorry, I have rules."
"Hell's Kitchen, Chinatown. You'll find more there."
Fury's cold reply dimmed Tony's expectant expression, but then a voice from behind him made him turn his head.
Looking at Natasha, who was standing behind him, he opened his mouth, but it eventually turned into a silent nod.
In the next second, Tony was seen opening his palms. A controlled blast from his palms sent him flying off into the sky.
"You broke the rules, Agent Romanoff."
Looking up at Tony's departing figure, Fury turned to Natasha without looking back.
"You didn't stop me, Nick."
When confronted with Fury's accusations, Natasha didn't look fazed. She kept calm and replied indifferently.
Natasha knew Fury wasn't as ruthless as he seemed.
Especially when Tony's father was a former member and co-founder of S.H.I.E.L.D.
"That's because I didn't hear anything just now. Tony Stark hacked into S.H.I.E.L.D. and found information on his own. Isn't that right, Agent Romanoff?" Fury turned his head and 'explained' everything that happened to Natasha while handing the briefcase he had prepared to her, "Even if Iron Man found his own solution, we still have to be prepared. So, Agent Romanoff ..."
"I understand." Reaching out and taking the briefcase from Fury's hand, Natasha gently nodded.
"Maybe, Tony was right." Watching Natasha's back as she left, Fury brought his gaze back to the confidential S.H.I.E.L.D. documents about Peng Lai on the virtual screen in front of him. His eye flashed, "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s cyber defence system needs updating. "
