"That wouldn't be a problem at all. We are grateful to the congressman for his help." Vince profusely thanked the man.

Aryana sneered. She could deduce that the congressman was related to the incident.

Ronnie wrote Vince's name on the check and had him sign some documents. He also took photos.

"And who is this lovely lady beside you?" Ronnie asked while eyeing Aryana with interest.

Vince frowned. He did not like the way the man was eyeing Aryana.

"She is the assistant project manager of the project I was working on previously." Vince gave him a vague answer, but he did not introduce her name.

"She looked familiar, though. I just can't remember where I had seen her before," Ronnie said.

Aryana chose to remain quiet, and Vince did too. Ronnie tried to linger but eventually left when Vince and Aryana were silent. He threw one last glance before saying goodbye to Vince.

When he was gone, Vince was happy to receive such big money.
