Capítulo 91: The Granddaughter

At the Lopez ancestral home…

That evening, Cassie decided to cook a healthy food her grandparents.  She prepared Salmon with roasted red pepper quinoa salad.  She only gave the recipe and it was still the chef who did the cooking.  But of course they didn't need to know that. She plated the meal beautifully.

"Grandpa, Grandma, I prepared dinner. This is very healthy."  She said placing the plate in front of them.  The dining table was very big and yet there were only the three of them.  She was buttering up her grandparents.

His grandpa and grandma were grinning from ear to ear.

"This is delicious Cassie.  I didn't know you can cook."  Grandpa Lopez placed the spoon in his mouth and expressed his delight.

"This is just an easy meal Grandpa.  I learned to cook in Italy as I have no one to rely there except myself."  She sounded pitiful.

Grandpa Lopez looked at her guiltily.
