Capítulo 34: Always blame

"I want to talk about how you are, Selena. I didn't mean to blame you earlier. I was just asking about what you were talking about with Mommy. You got angry and left me, you've misunderstood."

What kind of apology is that? Since when does an apology not contain the word sorry in it? And there's also some element of blaming Selena in the man's words. Really wishy-washy.

"Oh, I understand. But in the end I was wrong again, right? Because I left you earlier, and I misinterpreted what you said," Selena said in a flat tone, there was no change in intonation in every word she said.

James understood that Selena was making fun of him right now. The man was also a little irritated and wanted to say that Selena was indeed guilty, but if he still wanted his life in the mansion to be calm and comfortable then he had to throw that bad idea away. Yeah, that's a bad idea for James' peace of mind.
