Capítulo 501: The Brown Envelope

A brown folder with a stack of papers was at the bottom of the drawer. It wasn't out of the ordinary, but Lucia became curious about it. 

"Hmm, what is this?" Lucia muttered while opening the envelope. There were a couple of papers inside, and when she was about to pull it out, the shower noise turned off meant Gastone was done. 

Lucia's heartbeat quickened. She still had a couple of minutes to spare, but she was nervous about getting caught. With a deep breath, she pulled the paper to see the starting sentence and her eyes widened at what she read. 

"Turizer Farm… Contract…" Lucia trembled upon reading those words as they connected to Daniel and the Orphanage. She already expected Gastone to have a connection to Daniel, but a contract between them, especially their business, wasn't on her mind.
