Lucia wasn't able to sleep the entire night. Her focus was on the door even though she already put a chair on the knob for extra caution. She couldn't help but think her life was in danger by staying longer in the mansion.
By five in the morning, Lucia went outside. She had already seen several servants walking in the garden to start their work.
Lucia went out cautiously, making sure she wouldn't create any sound, but her luck wasn't that great. She heard the door slammed open and flinched after seeing who it was.
"Good morning, Miss Lucia. You are up early today," Daniel stated after seeing her. He was wearing his pajamas made of silk.
"Same to you as well, Sir Daniel," Lucia replied softly, plastering a fake smile so she wouldn't look suspicious.
"Are you leaving now? I insist on having breakfast here," Daniel stated and walked closer to Lucia. His presence showed dominance even though he didn't look like one.
