Capítulo 16: Chapter 16; The Beta

My deep sleep was interrupted when I heard quick footsteps outside my room. Half-sleep I got up to look at the commotion outside.

"What's with this house? It looks like the people who live here don't know how to sleep?" I complain as I open the door.

As soon as I opened the door, the group turned to me, so I was forced to go out to ask them what had caused the early commotion.

"Oh, and who is this lovely lady?"

The man responsible for the group commotion asked as his eyes glowed, looking at me.

"She is Tamara, the daughter of aunt Lolita," Vic answered the man's question while scratching his head due to the nuisance.

"So you are Tamara Morningstar ... Hi, it was nice to meet you finally. I'm Travis Morris, the Beta of the Phantom pack,"

Hesitantly I accepted Travis's hand outstretched to shake hands.

"Did Jonas make some calls already?" After shaking Travis' hand, I turned to the pack member.
