Damien realized Charlotte suffered because of the rivalry between the two half-brothers. Édouard never wanted to make her suffer, so he gave up on her after she fell in love with Mathieu. However, for Mathieu, the matter was different.

"Where were you lost, Damien?" Charlotte inquired.

"Nowhere," Damien said.

"Andrew and Jemeiah respect Édouard. I feel only Mathieu had problems with Édouard. Perhaps you find more answers after Édouard opens up to you," Damien opined.

"Yes. I will wait for him to open up to me," Charlotte stated. Silence occupied them for a few seconds.
