The examination ended without a hitch. After bidding farewell to the exhausted but relieved-looking Kiyomi, Arisu and Miwa, Hisaki rode the bike again with Heisuke.

Instead of going straight home, they headed to Shuuya's pottery kiln. That man had reminded them to come and have lunch together after finishing the examination. Aino would also be there.

"What did you think of the questions?" asked Hisaki who sat at the back.

She gripped both sides of Heisuke's shirt instead of putting her arms around his waist. The passing breeze tousled her long hair.

"I believe I will pass and so are you," affirmed Heisuke.

"Hahaha~ I love that confidence!"

Hisaki's joyful laughter put on a gentle smile on Heisuke's lips. He pedaled the bike faster as it mirrored his pounding heart.

The autumn sky was bright, as bright as the future they envisioned.
