She remained motionless for the next 2 hours and didn't take any action. It was as if she was convincing herself.

By the time she was ready, the space continued to explain,

"Master, if you want to absorb those souls, you will have to first activate your necromantic aura and extend it outward to make contact with them.

Once connected, you can begin drawing them into your life force," the space instructed in a low, steady tone.

Gu Jin nodded, closing her eyes and calming her breathing.

Slowly, she focused inward, reaching for the dark energy that resided deep within her.

Her fourth element—the necromantic power—stirred, pulsing with an eerie sensation.

It felt different from the other elements she had mastered, colder, darker, and filled with a strange sort of longing.
