Capítulo 69: Someone Can Only Love Their Family(1)

Asher wanted to check on Miss Anne but he was hesitating for some reason.

'I will visit her later. She must be still asleep.'

Asher thought and just stayed in the duke's room. The duke was sound asleep and Asher didn't have much to do there either. Because of that, he was bored but didn't want to leave there either.

He lazily watched the duke and suddenly jumped up when he noticed the duke's eyelashes flutter.

'He is waking up.'

Asher looked away and acted like he was not just glaring at him.

"Ugh! Asher?"

Asher immediately went to see what the duke wanted. The duke's eyes slightly watery and half opened, he opened his mouth but then closed again.

"What is it duke?"

Asher asked when he saw the duke wasn't going to say it.

"...Can you give me some water?"

The duke got up and Asher brought him water which the duke drank as if he was thirsty for decades.
