Chapter 160
Warning: Violence/ Blood.
Jamie woke up from a dream. It was a weird dream and considered a nightmare if only he hadn't missed his previous life. It was a memory of when he was still a teenager and tired of hearing his cousins flexing their new interests while hanging out at his house and their silly jokes about Jamie being branded a boring guy or, more specifically, a nerd.
The sun has not yet risen from the window; the view is unsympathetic, and the room is empty, without any hint of life aside from his and the medical personnel to check his vitals. He is alone and glances at the digital clock on the vacant wall. The bed in his hospital room was comfy, and since Hakjun was the one who insisted on confining him in the secluded area, no other people were loitering aside from the guard wandering as his night duty.
