~~Scorpion~~
.
Because the Headmaster wanted to help you use your fire abilities for good. He asked a man by the name of Scorpion to train you. You're meeting him right now as you're walking down the hallway of one of many buildings in the entire dojo. The whole dojo has over five buildings, each for training and other purposes, including many rooms for those who wish to stay the night. You're honestly nervous since everyone here seems to be a master of fighting and using their powers, and yet you allow know the basics of what you're capable of.
.
Y/n: I hope this is the right place.
.
You slide open the last door down the hall and you see a vigorous man in a black and yellow ninja. At least you think it's a ninja uniform of some kind. You're still learning about the environment, including the cultures of those around you. The man senses your presence and turns around, which catches you off guard. He looks pretty scary looking, and the fact that he too possesses fire abilities is even more concerning. The man walks towards you as if he was expecting you to come.
.
Y/n: H-Hi, are you Scorpion?
Scorpion: Yes, and you're the one who cast the ball of fire into the sky.
Y/n: W-Well, I can't fly and it seemed like the best way to survive.
Scorpion: Let's not waste any more time.
Y/n: O-Oh uh... O-Okay...
.
He wastes no time in showing and teaching you different ways to not only control the flames but also learn different techniques for using that fire. Then there's the basic hand-to-hand combat. It's pretty hard stuff, but if you're going to be in a world full of fighters, ninjas, and warriors, then you need to keep up and possibly become a well-known warrior or something like that. By the end of the three-hour training, with only a couple of breaks, your whole body is aching.
.
Scorpion: Training starts again tomorrow. Same time.
Y/n: Okay...
.
You walk out of the room and head back to your room to get some much-needed rest. Good thing you ate before you went to training, cause you don't think you'll be able to walk much further. As you left, Scorpion looks back your way and has a small thought to himself. How could such a small, normal mortal cause an enormous ball of fire? There is no doubt in his mind that just by looking at you, he can tell right away that you do not possess the killer's eye, and that you're just an innocent woman. But he doesn't underestimate your powers and what you could be capable of.
.
.
.
~~Sub-Zero~~
.
What's the opposite of fire? Ice, snow, and water. And the Headmaster wanted you to know both and possibly have both powers. So he asks the master of the cold, a man possessing the power of ice and snow that easily reaches down to the temperatures of the coldest part of Hell. A man named Sub-Zero. By the sound of the name, you automatically think that this guy might be the coolest guy you'll ever meet, literally.
You don't know where he is at the moment, but the Headmaster said to look in one of the gardens that the dojo has. And so that's exactly what you do. While strolling through one of the beautiful gardens, you take your time to notice almost every plant and every flower you can find.
.
Y/n: Man, I wish I could have a garden this beautiful.
.
You keep walking until you see a man in a meditation position in front of a pond. A man wearing a blue color ninja attire similar to the ones you've seen around here. Maybe it's best to leave this guy alone, so you turn around, and just as you begin walking away...
.
???: Your name's Y/n, correct?
.
Upon hearing the man question you, you turned around, only to see the man standing up, facing you now.
.
Y/n: Y-Yes.
Sub-Zero: I am Sub-Zero. The headmaster mentioned your name to me. So, you also have the powers of fire and heat. I am the opposite of you.
.
He then lifts his hand and forms a crystal blue ice ball, causing you to step toward him to see the frozen ball closer. You've seen snow and ice before, but his ice ball is more clear and the color of ice blue is incredible.
.
Y/n: Wow... I wish I can do that. But to be honest, I'm not too good at using my own powers. For the most part, I heat a lot of things like food but... I don't really use my fire. Except for the other night, I'm sure you saw it.
Sub-Zero: Yes, everyone saw it.
Y/n: O-Oh, well uh... yeah. That was because I got scared and figured that it would somehow save me.
Sub-Zero: (Makes the frozen ball fade into ice mist) And it did just that. You're standing here today and now you know what you're capable of. The headmaster also said that I would assist you in training. That is if you're ready to use your powers for good.
.
You think about it for a few seconds. You are in a completely different world, a different universe even, and it seems like everyone here has powers and/or great fighting skills that you wish you could learn. Maybe you were brought to this world for a reason.
.
Y/n: Yes, I'm ready.
Sub-Zero: Then let us begin.
.
That day, he trained you in basic hand-to-hand combat right there in front of the pond in the garden for hours until it got dark. You went back to your room and get ready for bed. After changing into your new pajamas, you open the window and look up into the night sky.
You don't know how you got here, or why you're here. But somehow you feel like you belong here. It's crazy to think since you haven't been here for more than a couple of days, but... back in your homeworld, you never really fit in. Now, you're in this whole different world where it seems normal for others to have powers and special abilities.
.
Y/n: (Sighs) Hm, use my powers for good. Maybe I could be a superhero or a vigilante. That Sub-Zero guy seems pretty cool. Ha, pretty cool. Hm, he's a good teacher so far, and good-looking too.
.
You continue to stare at the sky for a few minutes before shutting the window and turning off the lights before going to bed.
.
.
.
~~Erron Black~~
.
It's so easy for you to get lost in the dojo because of the number of buildings and outside space this place has. You're so glad you're here where the Headmaster happily took you in and you're allowed to stay for as long as you want for free. He sees that you have great potential, though you don't know what that could be. It was still very nice of him to let you stay here.
It seems like you're in the back of the dojo since there's no one here and it seems like- Just then you hear a couple of gunshots which causes you to jump and scream at the same time as you thought your life was in danger. But the bullets hit two glass beer bottles over fifty feet away from you.
.
Erron Black: Sorry little miss, didn't mean to frighten ya.
.
Turning around, you see a tall and handsome man in cowboy attire standing about ten feet from you. Whenever you are around men, handsome men that is, you get nervous. Why? Well, you're single, that's number one. And two, you've always had a thing for cowboys.
.
Y/n: (Smile) N-No worries!
Erron: So you're the one everyone's been talking about.
Y/n: I-I am?
Erron: You ain't from this world are ya? You're from Earth realm.
Y/n: Ha, yeah. I'm I that obvious?
Erron: As a fireball in the sky. The name's Erron Black.
Y/n: It's nice to meet you Erron. I'm Y/n L/n. I'm assuming you were practicing shooting?
Erron: (Chuckles) Practicing? I shot a hummingbird at 50 yards. That you saw there was nothing.
Y/n: (Smile) No way, really?
.
He smirks before he takes out one of his pistols and aimlessly shoots at the sky. You use your arms to cover your head, thinking that the bullet will come down on you. But then a bird falls dead from the sky, landing right between you and Erron. The fact that he didn't even look up to know where to shoot the bird proves how good he is at aiming.
.
Erron Black: Turn around.
Y/n: Why?
.
You turn around, still using your arms to cover your head. The three beer bottles that were left on the fence all get knocked down. All from a single bullet. It's completely shocking and surprising because you've never witnessed or even heard of someone doing something like that.
.
Y/n: Wow... you are telling the truth. How did you...
Erron Black: You're speaking to a man who knows his guns. Hell, if you like, I can teach you a thing or two with these guns.
Y/n: R-Really? But I never even held a gun before.
Erron Black: Ya ain't got to be an expert to know the basics. If ya got time, I can show you.
Y/n: W-Well, alright. I can give it a shot.
.
He then takes you through a basic gun safety training session before letting you shoot. And for a couple of hours, you practice shooting with him until he had to leave. But he says that he's willing to teach you more tomorrow and you glady accept his offer.
.
.
.
~~Ermac~~
.
Headmaster: I believe there is potential in that girl, Ermac. You are a thousand souls' worth of wisdom and experience. Powerful, and I believe you are able to help Y/n not only control her flames, but also use them for good. As you are already aware of what's... going to happen. I believe with her powers, we may stand a chance.
.
.
You stare at your reflection from one of the small ponds in the dojos' gardens. There are a lot of ninjas, warriors, freelancers in this dojo, and most of them have superpowers. Despite not knowing how you got here, you don't feel like going back. Most of the people and humanoids here are nice to you, and it seems like you could relate to them than the people you knew back home.
It's incredible seeing these fighters use their powers and fighting skills to train with one another. It makes you wish that you were like that, but a part of you thinks you can't. You're honestly not sure how you feel about your own powers. There isn't a chance in the world that you would kill someone or seriously harm them, unless they're the ones trying to harm you. But even then, you feel like the most you can do is kick them in the crotch and run. Or maybe you should buy a taser, tase them first and then kick them in the crotch.
.
???: You are Y/n, correct?
.
Turning around, you see a man standing behind you. The first thing you noticed about him were his glowing emerald green eyes. Not like normal green eyes where there's a pupil, sclera, or even an iris. Both eyes are a full glowing emerald color. Makes you think just how the hell he can see and what his vision must look like.
.
Y/n: Yes, and who are you?
Ermac: We are Ermac, the Headmaster has asked us to train you.
.
You've heard of him from the Headmaster and what you've heard from the conversations of others. How he is actually not just one person but a collection of thousands of souls of warriors brought together as one physical body by means of powerful magic, bringing them together in one body. Well, he just referred himself as a group instead of a single being.
.
Y/n: He did? Well alright. But I have to say that I'm not really an experienced fighter, nor do I have experience in using my powers as you probably think.
Ermac: No matter, we shall begin now.
.
He isn't much of a talker and gets right to the point about training you. He's let you know that he's master every material art known to man and unknown to man. And so, for a few hours, without using your powers, he teaches you some basic combat moves before adding your powers into the mix.
As it turns out, you're a pretty fast learner, but you still have a lot to learn. But you're both excited and nervous to learn more. As long as you're going to live in a world where there are people, humanoids, and creatures that have magnificent powers, then it makes sense to become powerful as well.
You train with him until the sun starts to set and you hold back a yawn. He then stops training you and tells you to normally stand instead of in defense mode.
.
Ermac: Go on and rest. We will continue this tomorrow morning.
.
He turns around and just before he leaves; you call out his name and thank him for being willing to train you. He only turns his head to you and says you're welcome before walking away, leaving you alone in the garden. Yeah, he definitely isn't much of a talker, but you can tell he's not trying to be rude or anything like that. He just doesn't talk that much. And he's willing to train you.
Even as you trained, you couldn't help but stare into his eyes. You're fascinated by his glowing emerald-colored eyes. You also wonder what he's been thinking while he was training you since he's literally thousands of souls in one body. So there's obviously going to be more than one mindset. But even though he introduces himself as more than one being, he carries himself as one being. It's difficult to explain out loud but... Well, maybe you shouldn't dive too deep into his personal life, let alone his own body and very being. You'll just see him tomorrow and train.
