"Go to sleep!" Her face began to flush, she covered his eyes with her hands. "Close your eyes, go to sleep..."

She repeated this, moving uneasily. She accidentally hit the man's abdomen with her elbow.

Tara immediately heard the man take a sharp intake of breath, followed by heavy breathing. Apparently, the impact had been a little too harsh. Scared, she released her hand, her clear eyes as confused and innocent as a frightened deer.

For Liam Yancey, this side of Tara carried a lethal attraction. In truth, it wasn't that painful, he was only trying to scare her. Now, however, he found himself unwilling to do that anymore.
