Capítulo 136: Caught

Later that evening, Elena decided to call her boyfriend to let him know of her movement. She knew she was also going to the mega city with them because of Audrey.

"Hi sweetie, can we meet up? I need to discuss something with you," Elena said over the phone.

"Sure, let's meet at our usual spot by 3pm," he replied, his voice sounding muffled.

"Are you okay?" Elena asked, surprised at his voice.

But the next thing she heard was the call drop tone on her phone. She sighed before putting her phone back. She wondered what Jake was up to.

"Are you okay?" Amy asked, startling Elena from behind.

"Oh my god, Amy! You startled me. I am fine. I was just speaking with Jake and he sounded strange over the phone like someone who was working hard," Elena said, furrowing her brow.

Amy looked at the innocent girl and shook her head. Of course he was working hard cheating on her but this damn human was so much in love with him that she believed his words.
