Capítulo 14: Chapter 14: Call Me Maybe

I get away from my friends after many long goodbyes and promises to get together very soon. They watch me go and, for several minutes, I wonder if they decided to follow me to figure out where I’m going.

Thankfully, I don’t see any of them coming after me. They were curious, but obviously not ready to leave one another just yet. A pang of guilt gives me a sharp jab in my heart. I do love my friends and want to spend all of the time with them, but I also have a guy, Felix, who I’m trying to bring into the fold.

Sacrifices had to be made, and today my sacrifice was not spending all day with my friends in exchange for spending an afternoon with Felix.
