Capítulo 35: The Second War of West: Part One
Krymon was standing on the balcony, looking at the army underneath. The whole army was stationed in an elaborate and rank wise manner. The soldiers with elephants and horses were stationed between the wizards and the brutal orcs and mercenaries were in the front with their sharp swords and giant hammers. The wizards has been stationed at the end because of their tactical advantage in the war. Lysander Wither and Taimon, Krymon's war general were at two opposite corners guiding their respective sides. Krymon looked at Tammy, who was still sad and absent minded due to the disappearance of his wife. Krymon patted his shoulder and said, "We will definitely find Sophia soon. But, right now we have a war to fight."
Tammy said grimly, "You go and do the preparation speech. I must not do it due to some royal affairs." Krymon looked at him in despair, "You and your politicians will never understand the gravitas of tough decisions. Anyway, I will not waste my life on you." He walked towards the edge of the balcony and said, "Today. We are not here as soldiers or warriors, but as guardians and protectors of our kingdom. Many may disapprove my presence in the war, but today I'm not an orc or some descendent of your past enemies.
Today, I'm your friend, a guide and maybe if you allow, the brother who will bleed with you, stand with you and die with you. We have different mentalities and different faiths, but one thing that is common is our desire to see our people happy. Your king, Sir Tamalin Vaharis has always thought for your happiness and prosperity and for that he decided to throw away all those old and fake beliefs and joined hands with me for a better and united nation. An utopia was seen that day by the very king who is standing here with his brother lost, wife kidnapped and love shattered. He may not be the ideal king the legends demand, but the most ideal king this kingdom needs. I'm a foreigner and will return someday, but this person will always stay beside you till his last breath. My father used to say that goodness is a costly ornaments worn by brave and bought with sacrifice. I seen that ornament in Tammy, your king, a son of the kingdom, a brother to your kin. Today, I will not say how to win, for I am sure you know that. I have seen many bad things occurring in the battlefields, but I give you my word that whatever bad has happen will have to get through me first. May the win be ours and death be of our enemies."
Everyone started to chant Krymon's name and Tammy looked at the scene with a sad mind. That moment teached him that power cannot be borrowed, but only created. Tammy grasped his sword tightly and gave out a war howl. The army looked at him and started howling, as Krymon smiled and mumbled, "Fool."
Alice and Aliyah were tightly grasping the reins of their horse. Aliyah said, "Don't be scared, Alice. I will not let you die." Alice said in a nervous voice, "Of course, I will be a little scared. It's my first time going into a war and that too against orcs and wizards. Elena and Trisha would have fainted due to nervousness." Aliyah said, "It's a good thing, they are not here. Taking care of three fools would had exhausted me." Alice said grimly, "Don't say like that." Aliyah said, "Well, the truth is the truth." Hilda slowly came near them on her horse and said, "Krymon is a very shrewd strategist and I am pretty sure that he has blocked all the four doors with his army." Alice asked, "Wait a minute. Krymon knows about our little alliance?" Hilda sighed, "His men has kidnapped your friends from our camp. So, of course he will know about our "little" alliance." Aliyah said, "Ignore her. What's your plan, Hilda?" Hilda took out a map and said, "Its pretty simple but also a little risky. Since Aliyah and Alice will be together, so you two will enter from the roof as your plan and kill your way to the treasure room. Money is not our requirement, but the heavy crossbows are which for some reasons they keep in the treasure room. The crossbows would be too heavy for a single person but you two combined can handle its weight and recoil.
The arrows are made of pure iron and the hundred arrows would be enough to kill a good amount of soldiers there. The route is quite simple and straight, but has been designed to create a maze. Everyone is a threat there and there will be no mercy on anyone. The rest is your war and if survived, we will meet in the middle floor where all the rooms are. Don't die foolishly and fight bravely. To victory and justice." Alice and Aliyah said, "To victory and justice." Hilda whipped the reins and galloped towards her army.
Elgin looked at the green guy and asked, "Are you sure Sophia won't have labor pains till tomorrow?" The green guy said, "I think that can't be said properly. I am still in the mood to kill both the mother and the kids peacefully." Elgin said grimly, "No. Why kill someone helpless and weak? Orcs are not born evil and if given right education will contribute to a better future only?" The green guy said, "I cannot keep her safe in this laboratory for too long. The war is going to be destructive and very bloody. Krymon and Tammy will come searching for Sophia if they win the war and even if they die, we have to answer the people about Sophia's whereabouts." Elgin touched Sophia's belly and said, "The babies are getting bigger and bigger and soon the horns will start to tear the belly. Her partuition will be quite difficult and there is high chance that she will not stay alive for too long."
The green guy said, "Things are not going to stay clean anywhere. Men and women will bleed equally and you cannot stop it. Orc babies need much more milk than elf babies and their presence cannot be kept hidden for too long." Elgin said, "Do whatever you want. But, remember we will need Sophia after the end of the war." The green guy said grimly, "Yes. But only if we win." Elgin said, "And we will definitely win." The green guy said, "If Sophia doesn't survive, then what?" Elgin said, "Her body will have a different story." The green guy said, "The orc kids will certainly raise many questions." Elgin said grimly, "Those questions will have their answers when its the right time." Elgin said, "If things become too nasty, give her a quick death." The green guy patted his shoulder. Elgin walked towards the door and soon left. The green guy looked at Sophia's belly and said, "Only if you were not so attractive, you would had a different fate."
Krymon and Tammy were sitting on their horses and sent Lysander Wither with a messenger towards Alice and Hilda. Lysander opened a scroll and said in a loud and clear voice, "We believe in the act of mercy and forgiveness. If you bend your knee and ask for forgiveness from Krymon and Tammy, we will let you live and go to your world peacefully." Hilda looked at Aliyah and she smiled. Hilda looked at Lysander and spitted on his face. Krymon smiled and mumbled, "That's my sister." Lysander said grimly, "I will pee on your face before flaying it." Hilda said, "You won't have your dick with you for that." Lysander smiled, "Because you will sucking it." Krymon said loudly, "Enough trash talking. We don't have the whole day." Lysander showed her suck it sign and went away. Aliyah smiled, "Poor boy. Don't even know he has signed his death warrant. Even if Hilda doesn't get to kill him, Krymon will surely break his neck for insulting his sister." Alice looked at the sky and saw numerous wizards floating in the sky. Alice asked, "Why didn't you say that they have flying wizards?" Aliyah said grimly, "Because we do too. Once you have mastered the art of controlling the air around you, you can easily fly like a bird and stink like a bee." Alice smiled, "Isn't it Muhammad Ali?" Aliyah smiled, "We all have our favorites."
Krymon shouted, "This war will only bring more destruction on your side. Don't be foolish. Surrender and live." Alice said loudly, "Cowards always think of ways to escape the war. We are here not to surrender, but to release the poor elves from your evil grasp." Krymon laughed, "Today. You will the power of my "evil" grasp. If you want to die, I will happily grant you your wish. Your friends have made me quite happy last night and that's why I was considering a chance for you to stay alive." Alice said angrily, "Your mother must have sex with a wild pig and gave birth to you. Hideous creatures like you don't deserve to live in this pure world." Krymon laughed, "Oh, really? Tell me this after the war." Alice shouted, "For Mother Manaca. Commence attack." They advanced towards each other and crashed violently with each other. Swords smashed, blood spilled and screams started to echo around and bodies started to fall. Alice and Aliyah valiantly kill every soldier coming towards them. Their main goal was to make it inside the palace and levitate to the top of the palace. A huge orc came running towards them and smashed their horse with its horns and the horse fell violently on the ground. Aliyah saved Alice by creating a shield around them.
Alice rolled and kicked the orc on the face and Aliyah stabbed a dagger in his neck. The orc bled to death, as Alice and Aliyah quickly ran towards the palace. But, Lysander's eyes fell on them and he started to give them chase. He jumped on Alice and teared her shield with his bare hands. He took Alice and chokeslammed her on the ground. Aliyah rolled and tried to punch him, but he caught her hand and kicked her on the groin. Lysander was about to thrust his dagger in her, when Alice threw dust in his eyes and took Aliyah's hand and ran away. Aliyah said, "That's a cowardly move, Alice. I really don't appreciate it." Alice said angrily, "But, I do. Because it saved our lives." Aliyah said, "Okay. But, don't do it again." Alice ducked her head and thrusted her spear in the heart of a soldier who tried to behead Aliyah. Aliyah looked at her and said, "Relax. I'm already dead. Nothing can kill me now." Alice said angrily, "But, you are still my responsibility. I will kill anyone who comes to harm you." Aliyah smiled and said, "Let me help you in your killing." She entered her body and popped her knuckles and took two daggers in her hand and said, "Let's fight Aliyah's style." Aliyah gave our a loud war cry and started to puncture the hearts of every poor soldier who came in her way. Soon, she reached the west door of the palace and saw an old enemy of her there. Gongamtei in Ryder's body.
Aliyah said angrily, "Gongamtei." Gongamtei turned and smiled, "I knew you would try to come from backside. Always the most smart one, aren't you?" Aliyah asked, "How did you get here?" Gongamtei smiled, "Krymon resurrected me from the dead to kill you." Aliyah smiled, "And you trust him?" Gongamtei smiled, "I would have killed you for free, if asked. But, he has offered me the Ancient Scroll. How can I deny such an offer?" Aliyah sighed in disgust, "A mercenary will always be a mercenary." Gongamtei said smiled, "Wrong." He took out his sword and said, "I'm an assassin." He striked at Aliyah, but Aliyah easily dodged it and kicked him in the leg. But Gongamtei felt nothing. He caught her leg and threw on the ground and striked her head with his knee. Gongamtei smiled, "You cannot hurt me by hurting this boy's body. I'm immortal." Aliyah kicked him on the face and said, "Even if you are immortal, your death will occur in my hands." She rolled and kicked him in the chest and then thrusted her dagger in his left eye. She then twisted his left arm and slashed his throat. Gongamtei smiled, "It won't kill me." Alice smiled, "But it will slow you down." She rose and ran away. Gongamtei smiled, "Run Aliyah, run. But, you can hide from me too long. Your end is in my hand."
