Capítulo 2: Introductions

After the reveal of the new student Ares, the entire school was abuzz with conversations. Outside the lunchroom, Abby and her friends were gathered together talking about the new guy.

"Oh…Em…GEEEE!!" Kip squealed, his tail wagging wildly; "When you said he was hot, you didn't give him enough Justice! He's a fucking heart throb!~" Kip spun around, resting his hand on his forehead and fell against Thomas; "I think my heart has been stolen by the man of my dreams!"

Thomas groaned, lifting up Kip as he brushes his outfit off. "Oh come on, Kip. You say that about all the equines! You have a fetish for stallions." He looked over to Abby, Sadie and Rachel; "Though I gotta admit i thought you were making up the whole 'equine with horns' thing Abby."

Abby waved her hand towards Thomas. "Trust me, it's fine. I wouldn't have believed it either if Sadie and I hadn't literally ran into him." Abby was going to ask Sadie and Rachel what they thought, when she noticed a few of the Mythicals walk by, a phoenix and a Gryphon.

"What kind of freak show was that supposed to be?" The phoenix grumbled; "Some wannabe mythical punk?"

The gryphon growled, his hands in his pockets. "Nothing but a freak of nature. Did you see how he looked down at us? He'll learn where his place is soon enough."

As they walked out of earshot, they kept talking about how they disliked the new guy, Kip letting out a low growl. "At least they know how we feel with them now. They better not try anything with My Ares."

Someone clearing their throat behind them caused the group to jump slightly. "While I appreciate the concern, there's no need to trouble yourself over the likes of myself." Hearing a familiar voice, the group turned around to see Ares standing next to them, Kip's tail wagging wildly as his face turned a bright red.

"O-oh! Hi there!" Kip stammered as he fumbled with his words; "H-How long were you-"

"Just moments ago." Ares quickly responded, his demeanor and vocal tones almost feeling like a butler; "The teachers wanted to let me know what classes I was to be attending." He then looked towards Abby and Sadie, giving them a slight bow; "And I believe I still owe you two an introduction. My name is Ares, the new student of Beast High. A pleasure to meet you."

Abby, Sadie and Rachel felt their cheeks flush slightly. They've never dealt with someone like this before. Usually the guys they deal with are too cocky for their own good. Abby did a slight bow, holding her hands on the front of her skirt. "My name is Abigail, but everyone calls me Abby." She then stood upright, motioning towards the group; "And these are my friends Sadie, Rachel, Thomas and-"

Kip jumped forward, resting his right hands fingers on his chest, his tail wagging. "And I'm Kip!" He then leans forward winking as he points his index towards Ares; "But you can call me whatever you like and Whenever you want~"

Thomas grabs Kips' tail and tugs him away, making Kip let out a 'yip' from the surprise. "Please feel free to ignore Kip. He doesn't know the meaning of the word 'restraint' when stallions are involved."

Ares chuckled softly, nodding towards Thomas. "I'll keep that in mind. Though I am quite curious." He motions towards the Mythicals walking past them, making smug remarks about him; "Is there any particular reason why they detest me?"

Rachel brushed a few of her feathers down, glaring at the Mythicals. "Don't let those jerks get to you. They hate anything that's not a Mythical."

Ares looked towards them, there eyes filled with disgust as they mumble something under their breath before laughing. It's obvious to him that the Mythicals have a superiority complex. "I see." While he watched the Mythicals laugh at their own insults and walk away, Ares could feel the eyes on his horns; "If you're going to stare, at least ask what you're thinking, my dears." He looked towards the group, all of them tensing slightly, averting their gaze.

Abby looked back towards Ares, her cheek wool feeling warm. "S-Sorry. It's just…are they…"

Ares stepped forward and leaned down slightly, his head slightly to the side of Abby's, looking into her eyes. "Have a feel for yourself if you don't believe my horns are genuine."

Abby looked into his blue eyes. They felt gentle, yet at the same time they held back something that made her instincts tingle. She then slowly looked at his horns, which were about a foot away. She could make out every ridge of them, the spiral of the horns all the way to the tips, which being this close she noticed were filed to a dull point. She nervously reached her hand out, and carefully brushed her fingers across Ares' horn. A soft gasp slipped from her lips as she felt them. "They…really are real!"

Hearing Abby stammer through her words, the rest of the group carefully felt them, equally as shocked that they were real horns. Kip grabbed both of his horns and leaned back slightly, giving Ares a playful wink. "Sexy stud with handles, oooh you are like every stallion I dream o-oww!" Thomas' tug of his tail cut his line short as he stumbled onto his rear, letting out a whine; "Tommy! Will you stop pulling my tail!"

"Only if you leave Ares alone!" Thomas snapped, leaning down with his hands on his hips, tapping his foot; "You've just met him not even 5 minutes ago, so stop trying to get into his pants!"

Kip smiled playfully, leaning back and using his hands to hold himself up, winking and sticking his tongue out. "So you want me all to yourself? Why not say so~"

Ares watched the two argue back and forth as Abby tried to calm them down, letting out a soft chuckle. He then looked towards Sadie and Rachel. "By the way, do either of you know where the 'Musical Arts' class is? The list the teachers gave me mentioned that was my first class."

Abby's ears flicked hearing this, looking at Ares, leaving Kip and Thomas to their friendly tussle. "Oh! That's the same class I'll be heading to! If you want, you could just go with me."

Sadie smiled as she wrapped her arm around Rachel's wing. "Great idea Abby! Rachel and I need to get to our classes, too." She winked at Abby, giving her a coy smile; "Make sure to take the long way around~" Before Abby could reply, Sadie drug Rachel off into the main building.

Abby felt her cheeks redden as the 2 ran off giggling. She looked towards Thomas and Kip to get her out of this, but somehow they snuck out while everyone was talking. Abby could feel her face turning a deeper red as her thoughts ran wild. 'Did they just leave me alone with him?? Those jerks!'

"If you don't mind, I think taking the scenic route wouldn't hurt." Ares chimed in, breaking Abby from her thoughts; "After all, learning where everything is would be quite helpful."

Taking a slow deep breath to calm down, Abby agreed, and led Ares around the school. She showed him the inside of the massive lunchroom, where the outdoor track is located, as well as multiple wings of the school to the different classes. As they were walking around, they came across one of the Mythicals, the Alicorn and the little unicorn, as well as the blue Unicorn who was talking to a pink lion.

The little Unicorn was smiling and running around, making her dress swirl around as the Alicorn watched her, a smile on his face. While she ran around, she noticed Abby and Ares walking up, a look of surprise on her face. "Oh! Lookie big brother! It's the unicorn with 2 horns!"

Everyone looked towards the two walking over, the Alicorn smiling and waving. "Well hey there! I was hoping we could get a chance to talk. I'm Starlight." He motioned towards the little Unicorn; "And this little cutie is my kid sister, Gumball."

Gumball walked up happily, looking up at Ares, her hands behind her back, rocking back and forward on her heels. "So how come you have 2 horns, mister? Are you a double unicorn?"

Starlight raised one of his hands to his face, rubbing his eyes. "Gumball, he's not a Unicorn. He's an equine that just so happens to have horns. Don't be rude."

The Blue Unicorn and the pink lion were talking to themselves about music and games, making each other laugh with jokes, when they noticed Ares. The Blue Unicorn stood up. "Hey man! Good to see you!" His demeanor was way more laid back than the other Mythicals so far, in fact it felt more welcoming than anything; "The name's Danny! Hopefully we can be good buds, despite the harsh vibes the other guys are trying to give off."

The pink lion stood up, brushing his mane back slightly. "Sup my dude? I'm Aaron." The lion, despite looking ferocious, was also giving off a pleasingly calm vibe. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a red paw print on it as well as some kaki pants.

Ares gave a slight bow. "Greetings to you all, Starlight, Gumball, Daniel, and Aaron. My name is Ares. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. And this is Abigail, she's showing me around the school before class begins."

After greeting the group, Abby and Ares went into the building and went down the hall towards the room with a sign labeled 'Musical Arts'. As they entered the room, they noticed most of the 30 seats were already taken, except a few in the back and a few in the front.

Ares looked around the class, seeing musical instruments of all shapes, sizes and timelines covered the walls. Each instrument had a little card next to them with the name and a bit of info of the instruments. Some were behind glass cases, some were labeled 'fragile! Don't touch please.' while most were just there for any and all to check out.

As Ares and Abby sat in the 2 open seats in the front, the bell rang for class to begin. Just as the bell finished ringing, the teacher walked into the classroom. He was a tall and slender Serpentine his scales a bright teal coloring, yellow speckles going down his body and limbs with a yellow splotch on his face and a reddish pink hew to his underscales. His eyes were a bright red with yellow pupils. He was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeve vest combo, along with a pair of snazzy looking glasses.

"Good morning class, my name is Alistar." He walked towards his desk at the front of the class, leaning against it with one of his hands, crossing his legs slightly; "Of course I'm only saying this because we have a new student joining us today." Alistar motioned towards Ares; "Mind introducing yourself to the-"

The sound of the door opening interrupted the teacher as a small group of students walked in, the one in front was the black dragoness from earlier. There were 5 total, the other 4 following the dragoness was an orange cat with black stripes in her fur, a female rabbit with brown fur and white spots, a female husky and a hen.

Upon entering the classroom, the dragoness looked around at the other students, who all quickly averted their gaze to avoid looking at her. She then looked towards the front of the class, and noticed Ares looking towards her from the corner of his eye, scoffing as she walked towards him.

"Ah, you're the freak from that meeting this morning." Her voice was soft, yet it was filled with pride. She then tilted her head slightly towards her followers, her gaze not leaving Ares'; "What was his name again? It's so hard to remember beings so beneath me."

The rabbit laughed, raising the back of her hand to her chin, tilting her head back to look down her nose at him. "I think it was Air Reeves or something. Who cares mistress? He's nothing to the likes of you!"

The dragoness chuckled, amused by the response, then looked towards Abby, who had her eyes glued to her desk. "You, little sheep." Abby jumped in shock, cautiously looking up at the dragoness; "I'll be taking your seat. I prefer sitting in the front."

"I think not." Ares raised his voice, now glaring at the dragoness, shifting his body so he is facing the group; "She and I chose these spots as we arrived in class on time. There are plenty of open seats in the back."

Abby looked at Ares, shocked that he was talking back to a Mythical, let alone a dragon! Abby could feel the tension grow as the groupies around the dragoness backed away slightly, looking at the dragoness, who was now glaring back at Ares, flaring her lip to show off her fangs.

"You Dare talk back to me, you disgusting freak?!" She stepped forward and slammed her hand onto Ares' desk, flexing her claws to leave deep scratch marks on the desk; "I am Vampirium Blackscales, eldest daughter of the Blackscales family! Do you know what that means you vile wretch?!" She flicked her tail and slammed it onto the floor, her groupies now visibly worried; "That means I could Devour you right here and now, and no one would even bat an eye at it!"

Hearing that, Abby saw something that shook her to her very core. She saw Ares' hair seemingly stand on end and turn a feint reddish color as he stood up and faced Vampirium, standing a good foot taller than her. His fists were clenched so tight you could see every vein in his hand bulging. But what he said next is what shook the entire classroom.

Ares looked Vampirium in her eyes, his body only a few inches from her, making her look up in shock. He then flicked his tail and said through a loud growling voice; "Then go ahead and try it. Just know, the second you try, is the second you Die."

Everyone in the class saw this, but only Abby and Vampirium had a good look at Ares' eyes. The look he gave her wasn't a look of a herbivore trying to defend itself from a predator. The look in his eyes was the glare a predator gives his prey. Vampirium felt something inside her she never felt before. She felt the fear of being a potential prey. And before she knew it, she found herself stepping back in fear, the look of shock on her face.

The sound of clapping broke the tension as Alistar walked towards the two. "Ok, ok, let's just all calm down. Miss Vampirium, Mr. Ares has a point. If you wanted the seats at the front, you should have came to class on time." Vampirium and her groupies looked towards the teacher, still in shock; "Now if you would all kindly take your seats, we can start the class. Or should I get miss Phoenix involved…again?"

As the groupies looked towards Ares, still seeing him glaring at Vampirium, the 4 quickly moved to take some of the open seats in the back. Vampirium looked at Alistar, then back at Ares, his eyes sending chills down her spine as she turned around, scoffing as she flicked her hair behind her shoulder. "Hmmf! As if you have anything to teach me!" After that, Vampirium stormed out of the classroom.

Taking a slow deep breath, Ares looked towards the other students and bowed slightly. "My apologies for the interruption. Also, my name is Ares. Hopefully this doesn't happen again." After saying that, Ares sat back in his seat, Alistar shrugging and moving towards the instruments, starting the class.

Vampirium was outside in the halls, her tail flicking the floor as she headed towards the restroom. "That pompous, arrogant, pig headed Freak!" She stormed into the restroom, finding it empty as she glared at her reflection in the mirror, punching the wall; "He thinks he can get away with looking at me like that?!"

She couldn't stop seeing Ares' glare. His posture from the entrance and the posture in the classroom were entirely different. Her wings opened slightly as she kept seeing those eyes of his. "Those damned eyes…no one has ever looked at me like that…" Vampirium looked at her reflection, seeing her cheek scales turning a feint reddish color. Her legs trembled as her wings opened more, raising one of her hands to her chest, feeling her heart racing; "Those eyes…we're like nothing I've ever seen."

She shook her head, slapping her cheeks as she tried to clear her mind, closing her eyes tight; "Stop it Vamps! Stop thinking about it!" She looked at herself again in the reflection; "There's no way…a freak like him?…" She whined softly, wrapping her arms around herself, thinking to herself; 'There's no way I'm getting flustered about that…that freak!'

She slowly started calming down, taking slow deep breaths. As she composed herself, she reached into her bra and pulled out her phone, dialing up a number. A few seconds later, someone answered. "Yeah it's me, Vampirium. I need you and a few of your goons to send a little 'message' to that Freak…Yeah…The more, the merrier. And be sure no cameras catch it." She hung up her phone and put her phone back into her bra, chuckling as she walked out of the restroom; "Let's see how tough you really are, you pompous Freak."

To be continued.
