"Vreihya! Stay there! I said you couldn't meddle!" uncle yelled as I tried to interrupt the duel again. "But he's bleeding uncle!" I exclaimed firmly, while mother clutched my hand. "Vreihya! That's how the battle works, you can be harmed whether you want to or not," mum promptly explained.
I noticed how shocked and pale Mino appeared as a result of his constantly bleeding arm. The dagger embedded in Mino's arm dissolved at Calix's signal, leaving a gaping wound. Oh God! His blood! What happened when they got a whiff of it? But I was deeply grateful since I couldn't smell it.
Mino quickly applied pressure to his gushing wound. "That's just a scratch! Don't act like you're going to die!" exclaimed the haughty prince of the snow. Damn! He's annoying me. When I saw the other kings and queens watching, my head flared up even more because of their evil grins.
"Dear princess, where did you manage to find this man? It is evident from his demeanor that he is not used to fighting!" Calix immediately grinned at what he had said. With his gesture, an ice statue appeared beside him. The statue looks a lot like Mino. "I won't even sweat! This is how your fate will be," Calix said as he touched the ice statue he had formed, which quickly cracked and shattered, leaving it strewn across the floor.
Mino appeared to be trembling and gasping for breath. Entrante! He can't possibly win! He might not live long if another wound is inflicted on him. "If it's just a scratch, why are you so delighted? Is this the only thing you can do to be entirely happy right away?" I was taken aback by Mino's remark, which Calix appeared to be furious over.
I noticed how the snow prince's eyes turned scarlet as an indication of his displeasure. Uncle shook his head after hearing what Mino said. "Both of you have sharp tongues!" he said, as if to mock me.
"Shut up! You just came from nowhere! Respect me!" Calix yelled loudly, and after a while he unleashed sharp ice and tossed it in the direction of Mino, who dodged it with his speed but was not as agile as before due to his wound.
In our world, when we are wounded by our fellow vampires, the wound does not heal immediately, and Mino is equivalent to us in this regard.
Mino lacks magical abilities, thus how can he attack? He can only dodge, and the fight will not end there. Calix appears to have grown tired of the sharp ice, so he created another ice dagger and dashed in Mino's direction, launching an attack that Mino easily avoided.
Mino's pained expression drew my attention. And as he dodged again, Calix instantly grabbed his wound and froze it without hesitation. "AHHH!" Mino exclaimed loudly in agony and shock, and he shoved Calix with all his force, causing him to be flown away and struck one of the rows of seats.
Mino appears to be considerably paler as a result of the freezing wound on his arm. Entrante! My chest could no longer handle the intense nervousness I was experiencing as a result of what I was witnessing. Calix was far more skilled at fighting and knew how to use his power, so I knew Mino couldn't win this duel.
Calix immediately rose from his wreckage and smiled again as he saw Mino's suffering due to his frozen wound.
He would not waste another opportunity, and he intended to attack once more. I just want to close my eyes because I'm worried that he'll kill Mino. My legs appeared to want to run so that I could be the one to fight since I was stronger.
Calix approach Mino, who couldn't move, and immediately aimed his dagger, but we were both dazzled when a light appeared on Mino's chest and quickly swelled and radiated all around.
Because of the light, I instantly closed my eyes, and all I heard was a loud crash, like someone had been tossed. The light suddenly vanished, and I immediately opened my eyes to see what was going on, and my eyes widened.
I noticed how lightning began covering both of Minos' hands and I felt a shudder as I noticed his eyes had turned blue, something seemed to be bursting out of his body.
"What type of creature are you?" queen Marayca exclaimed, and the rest of us who saw Mino's appearance now were both frightened and shocked. Even Calix, who stumbled back into the rows of seats, was taken aback.
Lightning? That was strange! There has never been lightning magic in our history. Is this the moon Goddess's power? I couldn't help but be surprised as the ice gradually vanished from his wound, replaced by tiny electric currents that seemed to heal it.
God! You're always shocking me! "Why do you have such magic!" Calix yelled, struggling to get up off the ground. "Cheaters! Where did you get such a creature?" screamed king Ozyrus of Berbantes, loudly and angrily. "Be careful, son!" Calix's mother groaned, her voice filled with fear.
But Mino seemed deaf as he didn't care about the fuss around him and his stare was sharped fix to Calix. I am now more concerned about Calix's life. I have a bad feeling about this.
I was in such a state of mind when Mino appeared in front of Calix in the blink of an eye, rapidly grabbing his garments and throwing Calix as if he were a lifeless object. Calix quickly fell to the ground and rolled.
It wasn't over yet, and Mino vanished. Lightning struck the ground beside Calix, and Mino appeared, choked him, and lifted him off the floor. I felt horrified by Mino's action since he does not appear to be the Mino I know. Calix fought swiftly against Mino's strangling, yet he was unshaken.
Mino was about to make another move when the lightning in his body vanished and his eyes reverted to normal. He appears to have abruptly come to his wits and lost his power.
Calix took advantage of this right away and kicked Mino in the stomach with all his force, which Mino quickly endured. Calix fired a tremendous hit on Mino's face without delay, and I immediately witnessed Mino's abrupt collapse and loss of consciousness.
Entrante! This can't be! He lost consciousness and that meant Calix was the winner. As blood ran from his nose, I could clearly see his unconscious body. But I was even more frightened, mother and uncle got up in their seats as they realized what had happened.
We could smell Mino's scent. "A mortal scent!" queen Marayca exclaimed as released her fangs. "A mortal! That man is a mortal!" queen Elena yelled swiftly, and I saw how they looked like maniacs, thrusting out their fangs and sharp claws while their eyes were red.
"Her mate is a mortal!" exclaimed King Zakarias. "Kill the mortal!" yelled King Arthur, and Calix appeared starting to be insane by his scent, his fangs protruding as though ready to devour the unconscious body in front of him.
This can't be!
They will certainly kill my mate!
