It was a Monday morning. Derek was preparing to go to the station as it was the day he would be receiving the results from the other crime scene investigators. He had been looking forward to it all weekend, as it was going to determine the next step in all this issue.

Esther was aware of this, so she had quickly fixed something simple for him for breakfast. Some poached eggs and toasts to go with a bowl of cereal.

Esther had already served Jeremiah. The guys took turns in driving Derek around, and today, it looked like it was his turn to drive him through all his rounds for the day.

"You don't have to bother yourself all the time to make meals for me." Derek said as he made his way to the table where Estehr was setting everything for him. He pulled a chair and sat down.
