Derek stiffened and his eyes widened with shock. His mind went blank and he tried to think through his now hazy mind. His hands hanged limply on his sides with his breath held.

She hugged him!

No! She was hugging him!!

When was the last time? The last time he was hugged, even if It was for a brief moment. He couldn't remember. It had been so long he had even forgotten how it actually feels to be hugged.

"I'm sorry..." Rory's low voice drew him out of his haze. Her hands were still wrapped around him and he could feel that she was shaking and low whimpers left her mouth. Was she crying?
