Capítulo 73: 73. A call and a message

Meanwhile at the cottage...

After Derek's call, the officer on the phone cursed out loud, drawing the attention of his other colleagues.

"What happened?" One of them asked.

"I think we made a huge mistake." The officer said while gripping his hair hard and his jaw working.

"Mistake? What mistake?"

"Quick! Let's check inside the house!" The officer ordered without answering his colleague and rushed towards the house, kicking the door open with his leg. The door went flying inside, but he had less time to think about that.

The others, confused, followed behind.

"Search everywhere! There must be some hiding spots in here!" The officer ordered while opening doors and moving about like a crazed man. 

The others just followed his orders and started searching. One of them got to the kitchen and his eyes narrowed.
