Capítulo 217: The underground

The discovery of Savine's humanity was a great surprise, but Victarine had no time to ponder on it. 

"Besides," Savine continued speaking, pointing her chin at Orso. "I'm really not worried about that guy. Even if I don't deal with him, and even if he's not punished by the nation… there's nothing he can do. The fact that I can come here and ask him to provide evidence for his guilt is proof enough of that."

Victarine understood. Indeed, if what everything Savine said today was true, then the duke truly was powerless. In fact, that fact wasn't so odd. The Sovereignty itself was struggling to deal with Savine. What could a duke inside it do?

'Still… an attempt at a royal's life must be dealt with appropriately.'

If duke Orso dared to attack Savine, then he was daring enough to attack the others. 

At that moment, Savine stared at her meaningfully. 

"I will keep this matter a secret," she said eventually.
