Jane had already made clear that she didn't want any mistakes. Ashley already doubted her, and she didn't want to give her a chance to prove that all that happened was a plan, not a mistake.

The fierce gaze in Ashley's eyes still gave her chills. It was clear that she would not let this matter go so quickly. Not after she already doubted her.

Getting in the car, she got a call from Gorge." Did you find the girl?" he asked.

"Yes"

Heaving a relieved sigh, he said," Make sure she doesn't escape" Gorge was too in this plan, and he didn't want to make any mistake that would tarnish his entire reputation. 

Ending the call, Jane drove back to her apartment.
