Capítulo 57: Do you like what you see

After finishing the breakfast, Grace took Ashley to her room. She wanted to share her childhood with Ashley and even let her learn about her mother, who was a beautiful soul and the good friend she could ever have.

Inside the room, Grace pulled out one old album from her cupboard, which she had kept secure with her until now. She could be close to her friend and connect only by watching her photos.

"Raven was a vivacious girl," she said, looking at the pictures and showing them to Ashley.

"She was a smart lady with a witty brain and knew how to deal with people who looked down on her", Grace said proudly of her friend and smiled with a sad smile.

She still blamed herself for never once reaching out to her when she was counting her last days. If only she had kept in contact with her, she wouldn't have been blaming herself now.
