Capítulo 124: The Great Dane

"You see, Dane was not the same as he was when he was young....."

As Aunt Fang told the tale in this very dim house full of smoke, one could easily imagine the events as if reliving them. 

The mind conjures images that dance like the fire, and soon…

It feels like a temporal shift, traveling back in time to witness something. 

Dane standing with his arms crossed, observing the wedding with everyone else. There were not many people in the ceremony, mostly the corpse groom's family members. 

The bride and the groom wore red traditional clothing. Red was the color of happiness after all, and there were decorations of the symbol for 'Double Happiness' everywhere. 

But none of them looked happy, as it was a gloomy affair. Dane himself, just a young boy at 10, has his lips on a tight line and his face somber.

He was a boy that never smiled even outside this sordid occasion.
