Capítulo 37: I will work hard with my husband
The yearning for grandchildren is a natural desire for any parent or in-law, now stood at the forefront.
Emma vividly recalled her mother-in-law's lingering worries and unspoken expectations.
An indescribable mix of emotions washed over Emma.
So it means whatever I say to them they will tell that to mother-in-law.

"Thank you for the best wishes, I am too excited and passionate to give this house cute children. Go and tell Aunt that I will work hard with my husband, on nights and sunny days, no matter how hard we have to work we will." Emma started to utter whatever came into her mind.
However, suddenly all the maids smiled listening to her words, and started going outside the room in a row.
Emma was surprised, and her eyes scanned the room until they met the gaze of David, who stood at the door with a quizzical expression.
No, no!!!
Why is he here???
Did he go to the office? Right?
I uttered so much nonsense now how will I face him??
Panic surged through Emma's veins as she frantically tried to recall if he had gone to the office today.
A torrent of questions flooded her mind.
How would she face him, would he think her too bold? Or too straightforward?
Emma's heart raced with trepidation, fearing the potential repercussions of her unguarded words.
David, seemingly unperturbed by the surrounding commotion, made his way to Emma with a reassuring smile.
In his eyes, she glimpsed a mixture of amusement and affection, which calmed the storm of anxiety brewing within her.
"Darling," he began, his soft voice tender, "I couldn't help but overhear your spirited declaration. Your words echo the desires in my heart as well. We shall face this journey together, come what may."
David proceeded to close the door, blocking the view of the maids and servants.
This made maids and servants go into deep gossip, some of them even decided to hear what was going on in the room through the door.
"What are you doing?" Emma said in a low voice.
"I knew that my mom had sent some maids in charge of us, so I decided to come and help you, just do a little drama of being a lovey-dovey couple," David replied in a cold tone without any expression.
