Capítulo 56: Crippling Shen Fei
During the entire class, Nie Li's attention was consumed by Alan. It was only natural as Ye Ziyun, Nie Li's beloved, sat so close to Alan that they appeared inseparable. The sight irked Nie Li, and he could feel the anger simmering inside him.
As soon as the class ended, Nie Li hurriedly made his way out of the classroom, his destination being the City Lord's mansion.
His intention was obvious, he planned to report Ye Ziyun's actions and how she was getting closer to Alan to her father.
Observing Nie Li's departure, Alan could sense what he was up to.
He turned towards Ye Ziyun and whispered softly in her ear, "Nie Li has gone to your father to complain about our relationship."
Ye Ziyun's face darkened at the news. "If he does that, I won't ever talk to him for the rest of my life," she said, her tone harsh.
"You'll know when you get home," Alan replied nonchalantly, a smirk playing on his lips.
Meanwhile, Xiao Ning'er sat beside Alan, feeling a little left out as he whispered to Ye Ziyun. She leaned in, a curious expression on her face. "Why are you two whispering so secretly? Tell me too."
With a sly grin, Alan turned to Xiao Ning'er, his eyes glistening mischievously. "I was just telling Ziyun that you looked absolutely adorable sneaking glances at me during class. Did you think I wouldn't notice?"
Xiao Ning'er's face flushed with embarrassment at Alan's words, and she turned away, unable to meet his gaze.
Nie Li, on the other hand, was boiling with anger as he made his way to the City Lord's mansion.
The thought of Alan and Ye Ziyun together made him feel like he was going to burst.
He was in love with Ye Ziyun, and the fact that she was in love with Alan made him feel like he was losing her completely.
As he approached the City Lord's mansion, Nie Li took a deep breath and prepared himself for the confrontation that lay ahead.
He was determined to end Alan's relationship with Ye Ziyun once and for all.
Meanwhile, after spending some more time with Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er as they had ice-cream together before finally splitting up.
After they split up, Alan decided to meet up with Shen Xiu.
There was a cold look on his face, "For today, you must go out and hire several mercenary gangs. I want these gangs to keep an eye on all the Seven Noble Families in the Glory City, excluding the Winged Dragon Family."
Shen Xiu couldn't resist herself from asking, "But why? The Sacred Family is much more influential than the Snow Wind Family. I am sure of this fact."
To this, Alan explained rather coldly, "If my guess is right, then you will discover that one higher-up in each of these families will be experiencing a meteoric rise in recent times. It can be a meteoric rise in terms of wealth or cultivation base."
Shen Xiu narrowed her eyes at that implication, "Are you suggesting that it's the Snow Wind Family who is trying to retain a part of its influence and control over these Noble Families?"
Alan rolled his eyes as he heard her words, "That foolish Family Leader of the Snow Wind Family would never do something like that. In fact, he probably hasn't even realized the extent of influence of the Sacred Family in the Glory City. The only reason the Snow Wind Family managed to retain the control over the Glory City is all because of the presence of Ye Mo in that family."
Shen Xiu asked as he tilted her head in wonder, "Then who?"
To this, Alan didn't respond. In fact, he began to move towards Shen Xiu and spoke with a rather sinister tone, "Aren't you asking a lot of questions for a slave?"
At this moment, Alan was groping Shen Xiu's plump buttocks rather aggressively. Involuntarily, Shen Xiu let out an erotic moan. This was just how good she felt from Alan's touch right now.
But this didn't continue for long because Alan suddenly smacked those plump buttocks.

During each smack on her buttocks, Shen Xiu let out a rather unsightly yet pleased moan.
Meanwhile, Alan seemed to have a rather sinister gleam in his eyes as he smacked Shen Xiu. It was unknown whether he was punishing her or because he was pleased by her reaction.
As Shen Xiu departed from Alan's room, her steps were unsteady, and her face bore a mixed expression of pleasure and debauchery. She adjusted her disheveled attire and cast a last sultry glance back at Alan before disappearing down the corridor.
Alan watched her departure with an inscrutable expression. He knew how to manipulate those around him, and Shen Xiu was no exception. With her loyalty firmly secured through a combination of fear and desire, she would continue to serve his interests.
With Shen Xiu gone, Alan activated his Shadow Devil ability. Dark tendrils enveloped him, and he melded into the shadows, becoming one with them. He moved silently and swiftly, traversing the mansion's corridors like a phantom.
Meanwhile, in Shen Fei's room, a heated discussion was underway. Shen Fei, along with his three trusted comrades, was deep in conversation, plotting a sinister plan. Their aim was to defeat and severely injure Shen Yue, who was none other than Alan himself.
As they discussed their malevolent strategy, little did they know that a shadowy figure was eavesdropping on their every word, lurking just outside the room. Alan, concealed in darkness, listened intently to their scheming.
Shen Fei's voice carried a venomous tone, "We can't allow Shen Yue to continue gaining power and influence within the Sacred Family. He's become a thorn in my side, and if we don't act now, he might overshadow me completely."
His comrades nodded in agreement, their faces etched with a mix of envy and frustration. It was clear they resented Shen Yue's rapid ascent.
Little did they know that Alan, their target, was lurking in the shadows, eavesdropping on their conversation.
With a sudden and eerie silence, Alan materialized in the room, his dark robe billowing around him. His masked face was an enigma, hiding his true identity from his brother and his comrades.
Startled, Shen Fei and his allies turned to face the intruder. "Who are you?" Shen Fei demanded, his hand reaching for his weapon.
Alan remained silent, his eyes glinting with malice as he raised his hand. In an instant, he unleashed a devastating attack, incapacitating Shen Fei and slaughtering his three comrades with ruthless efficiency.
Chaos and panic erupted in the room as blood stained the floor. Shen Fei, gravely injured and helpless, could only watch in horror as his allies fell before him.
Alan's identity remained concealed behind the mask, adding to the confusion.
His motive was clear—to make it appear as if the Sacred Family had been targeted by the Dark Guild. This would incite fear and anger, leading the people of Glory City to believe that the Sacred Family would fiercely oppose the Dark Guild. It was all part of a plan to maintain the secret alliance between the Sacred Family and the Dark Guild while preserving the trust of those on their side.
As the room fell into eerie silence, Alan's masked face betrayed no emotion, and he disappeared into the shadows once more, leaving behind a scene of devastation that would send shockwaves throughout Glory City.
