Rosie tried to cover up her hunger by sleeping. She hadn't eaten since yesterday, so it was only natural that she was hungry now. Then, Rosie heard the sound of a door opening. She looked back and saw Savannah leaving the room. It seemed the woman wanted to go to the bathroom. Rosie tried to count the sheep from one to a hundred so she could fall asleep.
As she counted the twentieth sheep, Savannah returned. Rosie was still trying to close her eyes to sleep, but then she felt a warm blanket draped over her body.
The girl turned and found Savannah bringing her a new blanket and pillow.
"Sorry if I disturbed your sleep. The night was a bit chilly, so I borrowed extra blankets and pillows for you to use," the woman said, making Rosie surprised.
She looked at a blanket with a white-blue vertical line motif and a pillow made of soft goose feathers.
"You don't have to do this," Rosie said, feeling bad that Savannah had to bother herself for her.
