A thick, purple wooden cane lay across his knees. The cane was decoratively topped with a golden eagle motif. The edges were inlaid with a Beimu, around which was a band of light silver Genshao leaves encircling the center of the eagle's head. It appeared luxurious yet understated.

The overall thickness of the cane was roughly that of an adult man's thumb.

Barely holding in his excitement, Casio first sat on the sofa and examined it carefully, playing with it for a while. He acted the part of an Antiques Lover. After admiring the cane and chatting with Matthew for about five or six minutes, he made an excuse to use the toilet so he could escape.

Along the rectangular carpeted corridor on both sides, there would be a copper wall lamp whenever there was a gap. The wall lamp emitted a soft yellow light, making the entire corridor quite warm and inviting.
