"Major, you said you haven't met their daughter yet?" Zoe said as she popped some potato chips in her mouth. She had found them in the groceries that he had brought yesterday. He nodded his head. "You can't meet her without a gift."

Song Zhilan had a look of realization. How could he not remember this soon? He couldn't meet Ji Nuo without a proper gift. 

"Should we cancel the dinner?" Song Zhilan asked her. 

"Mrs Ji will be sad. She just wants a chance to thank you sincerely or she will be very restless, "Zoe informed. She could feel the emotions of Zhang Jia too well. That woman just wanted to treat Song Zhilan well for what he had done. "For now, you can buy a normal gift and give her a big one on her birthday or something. What do you say?"
