Capítulo 43: Anxious

It's been one week since Dionne returned to Greenville. Life has been peaceful and well, boring. She hardly went out because all eyes were on her, few people came to talk to her while the rest just whispered within themselves whenever they saw her. She just preferred to stay indoors.

Her things were still at Lucas' mansion, and she has been planning on retrieving them, but she didn't want to go back to Lucas' house. Clothes weren't the problem– she could just get new ones– her diary was still in the confinement of her room, in Lucas' house.

The things she has written in that book should never be seen by eyes that weren't hers. She just prayed no one would have gotten a hold of it. She hid it very well, but one can never be too sure.
