Capítulo 1047: Victories at a heavy costs

Grand Lich Morkon saw the forces of the Trinity Kingdom pull back but did not blindly charge forward. The more they advanced, the stronger the golden radiance from the Grand Citadel would become, and they were all wounded and severely drained.

However, the fact he did not advance did not mean that Grand Lich Morkon lacked a way to enrage the people of the Trinity Kingdom. A dark fog emerged from his hand, reaching the ground and covering the corpses of all those who had perished in battle. It melted their flesh into a necrotic aura that began to feed his body and soul.

Hatred and rage appeared in the eyes of all the Legends and everyone else in the Trinity Kingdom as they saw the corpses of their brothers-in-arms being consumed by the power of the Lich. Yet, no matter how much they wanted to stop him, there was nothing they could do.
