Capítulo 79: Chapter 79: Realm of Gods and Sages
His onyx eyes widened and he stared at a ceiling that looked quite familiar. And not only that, the bed too.
'Where I am?' the boy wondered raising his head in confusion as he raised his hand to his head. He felt some pain.
"Until you finally wake up!" an enthusiastic voice suddenly sounded, and Gohan noticed that it was Goku, who was sticking his head out.
"Hello dad, how long have I been unconscious?" Gohan asked, though he figured no time had passed.
"A few hours, it was really excessive to use the Kaio-ken with the Super Saiyan and your body suffered a lot" Goku pointed out sitting next to him.
"Not so much, I've been training my Ki control for a long time... a Senzu bean and I'll be fine" Gohan said scratching the back of his neck smiling.
Although he did feel his body aching from him, the Kaio-ken strained every nerve in his muscles too much despite mastering the second degree.
'I couldn't ignore the opportunity to have such a high multiplier, now I must increase my base power' Gohan thought as he stood up.
"To be honest, I got too tired too, I'm still not used to using Super Saiyan 3 while I'm alive" Goku said.
Gohan nodded, since it was logical. His father had been dead for about two decades and his body still hadn't gotten used to being alive.
"It was something incredible, I realized that I have a long way to go to reach your level" Gohan admitted, not even with all his tricks would he have been able to beat him.
"You're still very young, you still have a long way to go" Goku smiled stroking his head, "Now are you going back to your time?"
Gohan put his hand to his chin, questioning. "I have a couple of things to work out yet, and then I'll go back to my time. Well, that's my plan."
"I see, you should go back... knowing your mother, I'm sure she'll be sad for you being away" Goku snapped, scratching the back of his neck.
Gohan lowered his gaze, since the arrival of the Saiyans he had barely been able to spend a week with his family before having to leave again.
He had no other choice, this trip was necessary to repair the future and avoid future tragedies. And at the moment, he was succeeding.
"Yes... the truth is that you're right dad, what are you going to do from now on?" Gohan asked with some curiosity about it.
"Well I guess keep training, even though Chi-Chi wants me to work" Goku muttered with a pleading look and Gohan chuckled at this.
"Well then we'll go convince her to change her mind" Gohan finally stood up and put on her gi. Goku swallowed nervously.
"Well... I'll trust you" they both left the room going towards the dining room, where Chi-Chi was reading a brochure, and she saw both of them.
"Oh Gohan, until you finally wake up!" Chi-Chi ran up to him and hugged him stroking his hair. The boy nodded, smiling happily.
"Don't worry, I'm fine" Gohan said and scanned the house, "Where are the others?"
"Krillin, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Tien went to see Master Roshi while Piccolo and the namekian you brought went to Kami-sama's lookout" the Saiyan answered smiling.
"Dende! I forgot about him" Gohan exclaimed remembering what he had to do, "By the way, this is for you mom. Enjoy it!"
Chi-Chi looked curiously at the capsule that Gohan dropped on the ground and when the smoke cleared, she saw a briefcase filled with ten thousand bills.
"W-what" the woman was puzzled.
"It's a hundred million zeni, a gift from Bulma... see you later!" Gohan left the house to avoid any more questions from his parents.
"Woooah, with all this money I won't have to work" Goku said putting both hands behind his neck as a smile adored his face.
Gohan ran away from the house and saw Future Gohan training with Trunks several meters away. Seeing such a scene made him really happy.
"Hey! How are you Gohan? I hope you're okay" Trunks asked smiling as the little boy approached them both. Future Gohan smiled.
"Of course, and from what I see they are training" Gohan looked at the adult version of him who gave him a nod at that.
"You put up a pretty good fight despite how powerful dad is, you left us all speechless" the man said with a smile, "Will you join us?"
"I'd like to, but I have to go somewhere" Gohan replied with two fingers to his forehead.
"You're great Gohan, I'll keep training to be as strong as you" Trunks said with his eyes flashing in admiration towards the little boy.
Gohan was the one who gave him hope, who encouraged him to be stronger and helped him improve day after day. I had nothing but admiration for him.
"Don't train to equal me... train to surpass me" Gohan spoke before disappearing from that place thanks to teleportation.
'I don't know you as well as Trunks, but what you've done for him, and for this world makes me admire you' Future Gohan thought smiling.

Suddenly, Gohan appeared before Piccolo. The namekian was meditating and with him next to him were Dende, Kami and his assistant Mr Popo.
"Gohan!" Dende yelled with a smile.
"Hello Dende, I see that Piccolo settled you in your new home" Gohan spoke smiling, "I passed out and couldn't accompany you here"
"No, it's okay Gohan, Mr. Piccolo, Kami-sama and Mr. Popo explained everything I needed to know" Dende said smiling.
"I found out about the situation, and it seems like a good idea to me. It was about time that this planet had a new Kami"
"And I think Dende will do an excellent job," Kami added smiling, "My time has come, and Piccolo doesn't want to be one with me again."
Gohan turned to the Namekian, who grumbled at this. 'Well, everything can't be like in the past' he thought with a laugh.
"So, are you going to the Shinsenkai?" Gohan asked curiously and Kami widened his eyes in quite a bit of disbelief and looked at Mister Popo.
"H-how do you know that place?"
"I trained with Kami-sama in the past and he told me about that place" Gohan replied quickly making up an excuse.
The Shinsenkai was the Realm of gods and sages, where the Kami went once their term as guardians of the planet was over.
"I-I see, I didn't plan on going there" said the guardian, pulling himself together, since few people knew of the existence of such a place.
"I would like to go Kami-sama, I'm curious to know what the ancient gods of Earth were like" the little boy proposed.
"That is a very dangerous place for any mortal, if the gods don't receive you their wrath could fall on you" Kami warned with great seriousness.
"I understand, but my curiosity is stronger" Gohan replied with the same seriousness as him, he always wanted to know what the Shinsenkai was like.
Kami looked at him, he couldn't deny the one who had brought him back to life and especially the one who defeated the androids, "Mister Popo, take him away"
Gohan smiled. If he wanted to go there it was to find out how the room of time was created and if he could learn the magic of the Kami-sama.
And while Gohan was preparing for an adventure in the divine realm, something macabre was about to happen in his time... What will it be?
