Chapter 33: Raditz (2)
It had already been a month since the moment Raditz was revived, and from then on his whole life took an incredible turn.
He had never had the need to train as such. Since his power reached 1200 units he was happy with that amount.

Raditz felt humiliated for being a brat's punching bag, but after realizing how powerful he had become, the anger left him.
With his current knowledge of Ki and his power level, he felt brand new! In just one month he achieved what never before in his life.
"Oh, that's amazing uncle Raditz! You're able to meditate longer than you usually do" Gohan spoke smiling.
However, Raditz didn't reply. He kept his eyes closed despite Gohan's teasing, and that surprised him greatly. It never used to pass.
"Brat, why did you resurrect me?" Raditz asked in a calm voice as he slowly opened his eyes, "Tell me the truth."
Raditz felt that Gohan hadn't revived him to help them in the battle against the Saiyans. Even without him there, they could beat the saiyans.
Gohan looked at him seriously. Of course, he couldn't tell him that one of his reasons had to do with Universe 7's current power level.

Raditz opened his eyes at those words, he never believed that someone would understand him. But yeah, hanging out with Vegeta and Nappa wasn't the best.

Raditz listened silently to Gohan's responses. Seconds after he had inquired, he stood up and folded his arms, smiling.
"So that was why. Well, I'll help you dwarf, if you master the Ozaru's form your chances of winning will multiply" Raditz spoke with a smile.
"Okay, shall we start now? We only have two months left" Gohan asked also getting up from the ground, he was very anxious.
So, Raditz explained the whole process of metamorphosis, the Blutz waves and all that, although Gohan already knew that information.
"Controlling Ozaru's power requires mastering the most primal Saiyan instincts" Raditz explained as he swung his tail around his waist.
"You mean to control that thirst for destruction and brutality, right?" Gohan asked with a hand on his chin and his uncle nodded at that.
"The problem is that both you and your father have abandoned those instincts by being more humanized, so controlling the Saiyan instinct would be difficult for you" Raditz expressed.
'There's no official source in the series that explains how to control the Ozaru... I'll have to test my little hypothesis' Gohan questioned.
"Well, could you create a power ball? I have a theory in mind" suggested the boy smiling and Raditz looked at him curious for those words.
But he didn't dare ask him. He held out his palm and suddenly an orb of energy manifested floating before them both.
"You told me that when you throw this ball into the sky, it mixes with the gases in the atmosphere to create an artificial moon, right?" Gohan inquired.
"Yes, but if I cast it right now and you transform, this planet will be destroyed" the saiyan answered with a bitter smile.
"I know, my theory is to expose myself to this sphere of energy for as long as possible so that my body adapts" Gohan pointed out.
Raditz scratched his cheek, not understanding what he was getting at. Gohan sighed scratching the back of his neck, maybe he blurted out all that information too quickly.
"Let's see, to transform into Ozaru the eyes must absorb 17 million zenos of Blutz waves" explained the little boy smiling.
"Fine, go on" ordered Raditz looking at him.
"What the power ball does is replicate these Blutz waves, but for it to reach that amount of zenos it must be launched several kilometers and mix with the gases of the atmosphere"
"Once that happens, an artificial moon will form that emits the Blutz waves, then the eyes absorb the zenos and a reaction occurs in the tail that cau..." Gohan explained.
"I know all that child, where do you want to go?" Raditz inquired with a rather impatient frown and Gohan smiled and raised a finger.
"That right now, the power ball is emitting zenos waves but not enough to cause the transformation" Gohan spoke pointing to the sphere that Raditz created.
Raditz noticed that Gohan's tail was moving as his eyes were in contact with the power ball. This was amazing.
"If my eyes absorb a certain amount continuously, my body will slowly adapt, do you understand?" said the boy.
"Are you really five years old?" Raditz asked, disbelieving the fact that a child had given such a masterful explanation.
"When it comes to transforming, it will be easier for me to master my Saiyan instincts... but of course for that my body must be used to being exposed to Blutz waves hehe" he concluded.
"It makes sense, but I can't be creating power ball continuously, it's exhausting" the saiyan uttered suddenly vanishing the ball from him.
"Well, then teach me how to make one!" Gohan declared excitedly, "But first we should go get something to eat, uncle Raditz!"
Raditz sighed going after the little boy... but he felt that he was having the best time of his life in Gohan's company.
