Well, it was the only match that seemed somewhat hard for him as he didn't have a shield and was refraining from using his aura. Despite these factors it was pretty easy match for him.
"That's a flawless win for Lloyd!" the announcer's voice boomed through the arena, amplifying the excitement of the spectators.
The upcoming matches were as easy as eating a cake. No one posed any kind of challenge to him as he was almost two ranks above them. His superiority was evident, and he breezed through the competition effortlessly, showcasing his prowess.
"Lloyd bags another victory by using the way of disarming!" the crowd erupted in cheers.
In none of the matches did he use his aura openly since it was pretty hard to control perfectly at his age and experience. He had to be cautious refraining from using it in most of the matches. However, he used a little to show that he was also a 3rd rank, just enough to maintain his credibility without revealing his full potential.
"Mr. Disarmer boasts his ability to render his enemy useless yet again!" The commentator's enthusiasm reflected the audience's awe and admiration for Lloyd's consistent performance.
He defeated his opponents by disarming them in almost every match, earning him the unique title of 'King Disarmer'. This title was also updated in the system, but it didn't give him any rewards except sounding cool to him compared to those fancy titles.
"By stealing the sword from the wrist of the swordsman, now the King of Disarming makes his way to the Eliminators!" The anticipation for the upcoming rounds grew as Lloyd continued to dominate the competition.
He had defeated all ten of his opponents who were around his registered level pretty easily, and the crowd went crazy for him every time. His victories were celebrated with deafening cheers and applause, creating an electrifying atmosphere in the arena. But now, as he was at the eliminators, the standards were raised. All of his opponents were around mid-3 star aura or peak 3 circles.
To avoid seeming suspicious, he also got his level updated, attributing his growth to his sponsor, the Laxan Guild. As they were one of the biggest guilds in the country, it wasn't that suspicious that his strength had increased that much in a few days. The Laxan Guild's reputation provided a plausible explanation for his rapid improvement, allowing him to compete without raising eyebrows.
Now that he got his level updated, he could also fight a little more openly. This newfound freedom allowed him to utilize his abilities more effectively, making him even more formidable in the arena as he didn't have any problem caping his aura to this level.
Well, the previous matches were point-based; the one who got the most points in his group would head to the eliminators. But the eliminators were different. As the name suggested, eliminators meant elimination rounds—if someone lost any one match, they would be out of the competition. There wasn't a second chance for anyone. The stakes were higher, and the pressure was immense.
There were 64 players in the eliminators, so everyone had four elimination matches before making it to the finals, which wasn't going to be easy for anyone. The competition was fierce, and every fighter was determined to give their best since the VIPs were watching and making the list every day and they wanted to get their put into that list too. So that they could have a chance to learn and improve themself under a prestigious academy, guild or maybe a family too. Since we were in the final phase of the tournament, there were rest days given to the fighters to recover.

"Well, why did you call me so urgently? I was seriously sleeping!" Lloyd yawned in annoyance, looking at Lise, who wore a beautiful red dress with black stripes and a brown bunny sling bag. She seemed ready for the day, while Lloyd could barely keep his eyes open.
In contrast, Lloyd wore a plain white shirt and the first pair of jeans he could find, which happened to be oversized. He had tightened them with a belt, barely keeping them on his waist. His hair was disheveled, and he looked like he had just rolled out of bed, which, in fact, he had.
"You promised to hang out, right?" she said, pointing back to the promise he had made some time ago. Her eyes sparkled with anticipation, and it was clear she had been looking forward to this day for a while.
"I did… but why did it have to be today? You know I have a match coming up," he grumbled, rubbing his eyes and trying to shake off his grogginess.
"I already asked Dad if this would interfere with your matches, and he said no and told me you are, you are—" Before she could finish the sentence, Lloyd pinched her lips shut, a look of mild panic crossing his face.
"Okay, okay, I understand. You don't have to say that in public," Lloyd silenced her before she could continue.
"Relerges mry lirps," she mumbled as she removed his fingers from her lips, her words muffled but her irritation clear.
"Ahh, why did you have to pinch them so hard? Now my lipstick is messed up," she complained, cleaning the smeared lipstick from her face.
"My bad… but don't say anything like that in public spaces…" Lloyd muttered, scratching the back of his head. He was grateful that she hadn't blurted out something that could attract unwanted attention.
"Anyway, where do you want to go? I don't know anything about this place, so don't expect much from me," he added, trying to change the subject and lighten the mood.
"Don't worry about that," she said enthusiastically, looking at her phone. "The cab should be arriving anytime now." She had clearly planned this outing meticulously.
After the cab arrived, their first destination was the Kushibo River. It was a famous tourist spot among visitors, located outside the city and offering clear views of the Northern snow-covered mountain range. The river's serene beauty and the majestic mountains in the backdrop made it a perfect spot for relaxation and sightseeing.
As they walked along the riverbank, Lloyd found himself slowly unwinding. The cool breeze, the sound of flowing water, and the stunning scenery worked their magic, easing his earlier irritation. The river sparkled under the sunlight, and the lush greenery around them provided a refreshing contrast to the urban landscape they were used to.
"This place is amazing," Lloyd admitted, glancing at Lise, who was beaming with satisfaction. She had a knack for finding hidden gems like this, and he was glad she had dragged him out of bed.
"See? I knew you'd like it," she said, her enthusiasm contagious. "There's a lot more to see. Let's explore!" She grabbed his hand, pulling him along as they ventured further along the river.
