Oh, fuck! The shit is hitting the fan today and the day before the wedding, I was 100% sure as soon as this got out, then I would be out of the door and there was no way I could go to the wedding with him tomorrow.

Luckily, this week Luke had hardly been to the office, and when he did show up, he spent most of his time in meetings. I hoped he wouldn't show up today, so we could go to the wedding. I could explain to him about my drunken blunder last week and maybe, just maybe he would forgive me for not talking to him first.

I knew I should have spoken to him before doing anything, I was a complete mess and it dawned on me I wasn't upset about the job, the reason for coming to L.A. in the first place, I was crazy about Luke and the reason his actions hurt me so badly.

"Today's the day..." Stephanie whistled as she passed my desk.
