Capítulo 223: 223. I alone am enough to loathe her

"Trust me, I am fine," he said, cupping her face in his palms as he assured her.

"Then let me feel your emotions," she said looking into his eyes. He hadn't let her feel anything from him for a few days and he was often away so she didn't have the time to have a proper look at him.

He stared at her with mixed feelings flashing across his eyes. There was that part of him that wanted to let her, that part that couldn't keep anything from her but there was also the part that didn't want her feeling the turmoil inside of him. He was often away so that the distance would help him shield them all away and she would be able to feel a thing.

"Let me," she said, cutting in between his sentences.

"You are right, I am not alright but it's nothing that I can't handle." he said, hugging , burying his face on the nook of her neck. "I don't want you getting hurt because of this,"
